Koepka needed that birdie putt. Woodland with some breathing room now.

That's a way to close out a championship.

Guess Woodland didn't need all 3 putts.

Gary Woodland played a great round of golf. 2019 U.S. Open Champion. Well deserved!

I was enjoying it but had to turn it off as Woodland went to the ninth. My father in law made too many comments about golf being on and we only have one tv in the house. Looked like Woodland played solid.Koepka came out on fire and made it interesting if Woudland would have slipped up

It wasn’t worth getting into an argument about it on Fathers Day. If it was the Masters there might have been a problem. I continued to watch for a good hour after initial comments stArted but after that I got up and took a deep breath and decided to just put a movie on and follow on my phone occasionally. They leave Friday so no need to make the week horrible right out of the blocks. I’ll let it build a bit more.

That's winning in style. He really worked on his short game and it sure paid off.

I see he has the 52-58-64 wedge set up. Also the KBS C-Taper shafts in the irons. Nice

Exactly.

It's Sunday. Checks the leaderboard. Is Tiger on it? Nope. Well, is Phil at least on it? Nope. Can I even get a Sergio Garcia? Nope. Ok, let's find Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.

So watching golf would be a sign that I am young or was considering watching golf a sign that I was old?

There are plenty of good, entertaining golfers to watch during any competitive event, Major or not. You're young enough that you should not be dismissing golfers like Fowler, Rory, Rahm, Koepka, Day, etc.

He's #5 in the world rankings. Consider this your call.

What kind of a name is Viktor Hovland anyway?

I just don't find them all that compelling though even with how insanely good at the sport they clearly are.

Casual golf fan IMU is onto something.

You had the #1 player in the world going for a three-peat and was 1-2 shots back all day long. You had the #3 player in the world, a US Open champ in the final group and was in the mix until the back 9 on Sunday. And you had the #5 player in the world, another US Open champ who fired a 61 last Sunday to win, poised to make a run as well.

But thats not compelling enough for you.
