I really think this offense takes a giant leap this year. They certainly have the personnel and system to be top 10 or even higher. Sure the defense will be great but will this team be more known for its O during the Super Bowl run?

Do the Bears have above average players at any skill position on offense?

Trey Burton is probably a top 16 TE in the league. That's about it though. I like Montgomery and think he could be above average as a starter from day 1.

A bulked up 250 pound Leonard Floyd looking to get paid. I say no because this defense could rival the 85 Bears and 2000 Ravens

Yes.

They have above average talent at every skill position.

They have nice gadget players. Works well within Nagy's offense where the system amplifies the results given their talent.

No, the league has had a full season of Nagy's offense to game plan against.

Not sold on the OL, TE, RB or QB.

A mix of both. Robinson and Cohen are known quantities proven to be above league average. I'd throw Burton into that group as well but to a lesser degree. The potential end of the equation is much heavier right now because of all the young, incompletely matured talent they have assembled in the last two years at QB, RB, WR and TE.

I would say each of their skill position groups, as groups, are above league average with RB and WR being excellent and QB being average in production but with huge growth expectations that are warranted. TE confounds a little because of mental and physical illness.

I love this RB and WR group (Favre does as well but it is manifested in fear).

Allen Robinson has one above average year in his entire career. That's not a known quantity proven to be above league average.

You're too in love with the WR group. Robinson and Gabriel are just guys, and Anthony Miller has shown a bit of potential through an injury riddled inconsistent first year, and that's all they have in that group outside of complete dart throws like Ridley and Hall.

3 out of his 5 are above league average, the fourth was entirely wiped out by injury and the fifth was his rookie year. What do you think is league average? Those are pretty comparable to Alshon Jeffrey's years with the Eagles and he is above average.

Gabriel is league average but he has a much needed skill essential as a complement on any team.

Anthony Miller showed more than a bit of potential. Injuries really are the only question but I'm more comfortable with upper body injuries on WR than lower.

I think Ridley, Wims and Hall all fall into the potential group which is in the eye of the beholder at this point so I won't analyze.

Team Mitch here

I think by the end of this year we will realize the only wrong qb decision was in passing on Mahomes

League average in Allen Robinson's case is top 16 WR. For Gabriel it would be top 32 WR. Miller top 48, etc. None of them currently qualifies as above league average relative to their position on the depth chart. Of course Robinson is better than most teams #3 WR. That isn't saying much.

Yeah, the Saints and Rams are obviously tougher than the 49ers and Panthers. But I think it's likely both teams will split their games against unique opponents.
