I don't think that's accurate. People for calling for McCarthy's head years ago (you laughed at me when I brought this up in like 2015), and Rodgers never started any shit. It wasn't until last year, after it was beyond obvious that McCarthy was a problem, that Rodgers spoke out. That's not "a history of this stuff".

Also, if you're being honest, you know Rodgers is right in this little spat. It's beyond retarded to tell him he's not allowed to audible plays.

No doubt he should be able to audible and run things the way he wants. I am not saying he isn't right.

But this goes along with what I told you when the hire was made. Rodgers does not respect this new coach. He thinks he knows more than he does and it is already being seen. This appears to be the tip of the iceberg. A new coach that comes in and does not already know that Rodgers should be able to change whatever he wants at the line of scrimmage is not very bright.

If LaFleur is trying to implement a new offense, then he absolutely should be telling Rodgers not to audible in practice and pre-season.

When Rdogers lines up against the Bears in September and sees Mack, Smith, and Floyd, among MANY others coming to get him (and they will), then he can audible.

I don't think he's questioning why things would need to be different. He straight up said the play calling needs to be different last year. Infantilizing your first ballot HOF QB isn't doing something different, it's doing something dumb. Hopefully LeFleur backpedals from this.

The problem is that pretty much all Aaron Rodgers knows is how McCarthy did things. It seems like Rodgers is saying "Just let me do what I did last year" and the coach is trying to get his system up and running.

I don't think it is wrong to expect in mini-camp for every veteran player to accept the coaching of the new coach. I'm sure LeFleur knows what Rodgers can do and he will let him work towards the best of his ability but Rodgers isn't the coach of the offense.

It doesn't seem like Rodgers is saying that all. It's actually pretty clear what Rodgers is saying.

He despised McCarthy for years, now he's seemingly off to an awkward start with LaFleur.

Will his ego allow him to accept coaching from someone who's roughly the same age as he is yet is also far less accomplished in the sport of football?

Rodgers has gradually transmogrified into a more talented version of Jay Cutler.

That's a bizarre conclusion. Rodgers has a massive ego but he clearly cares a lot about winning. Cutler would have been fine with McCarthy coaching his whole career as long as GB kept cutting them checks.
