Ive been looking at some sites and they have replica type MLB historic jerseys for like 30 bucks.

I am thinking of buying some and just hanging them int he closet. Probably would never wear.

The majority of these cheap jersey sites originate from somewhere in Asia. They steal your financial info and attempt to milk the accounts dry sporadically $20-$30 at a time.

I was told by MANY respectable professionals that unless the online retail source says; "A Fanatics Experience" in the top horizontal banner, you are taking a risk. Of course there are genuine exceptions... Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc.

BTW - I agree with sjboyd... that is funny stuff.

the only jerseys i will wear are soccer jerseys during the world cup and my Kevin White shirsey, with original number #13 when we have people over for Bears watching.

otherwise it's t-shirts or sweatshirts during football season or team apparel while attending Hawks, Bulls, Sox, or Cubs games.

Oh, and I have couple of Wolves hats.

Few points :

1.Tim Raines - 100 percent agree. That guy was a monster f'n baseball player in the NL. He was so dominant and we all feared him. When he went to the AL he lost that edge. Not sure why. The whole 'call me rock raines' thing was weird too. It's like he a big ego in the AL.

2.Do you guys actually war the jerseys in public? At my age i find it a bit silly so I just like to collect.

3.I've seen some sites that are in asia that are iffy. I saw a few on ebay where they will manufacture the jersey for you for like $30. But most of them are missing some of the patches but if you want to get that detailed, you can buy the patches and sew or iron them on.

i wear them in public during the World Cup, but that's it.
