That guy has always been a tool. The Cubs or any franchise for that matter are bigger than the current ownership group and any player on the team. My fandom came from my grandfather always having the game on and my parents taking me to games as a kid.

There is no way I am going to let the owner’s political beliefs get between me and the teams I love. I couldn’t stand Bill Wirtz, but that never stopped me from listening to the Hawks (yeah so fucked up that I couldn’t even watch homes games).
