No thanks

On a vet minimum it’s a fine deal and probably even a good one. Any more than that and it’s a bad move. But yeah from what I’ve read both sides have strong interest so that kind of sucks.

This second round pick is being touted as a rebounder and rim protector. Bol could have done that even better if that's all you wanted. He could have also done more in the future.

Bol might never play more than like 50 NBA games in his career and I'm not sure how much of a rebounder and rim protector he is. Seems like Brook Lopez except way more fragile and probably not as hard working.

Bol may never play a game. I still think there's more to that story than we know.

2nd round of the draft is littered with guys that will never play in an NBA game. The ones that do happen to play rarely amount to anything more than a rotation players.

This was the perfect spot for GarPax to gamble and as per usual they fumbled.

Bol was "my guy" in the draft thread. I understand what he could be. but when 20 teams take a pass on a guy compared to his talent level, there's something going on. either the medicals were even more terrible than we know or he's a head case or...

All of this might be true. Or some of the teams might not want to wait a year or 2 for him to get right. Or they might be scared that he is Oden all over again.

It could be anything. 19 year old kids can recover from injuries that aren't considered career threatening. As far as anyone knows his isn't.

At 44 it's not a bad risk to draft him.

Yup. Drafting Lauri too. Many people had Dennis Smith and Malik Monk as safer draft picks.

Drafting Lauri Markkanen wasn't considered much of a risk. Some fans preferred Dennis Smith but the draft prognosticators had Markkanen spotted about where he was selected.

They did but he was considered a high risk high reward guy similar to Isaac

Probably should use the dough to sign 2-3 solid bench guys. Starting 5 is actually not all that bad but their bench was the worst in the league last season.

No more Blakeneys, Shaqs (Non Oneal) Arch and Selden. They need NBA caliber players coming off their bench. No more of this G League in the Big Leagues garbage.

Shams says the Bulls are interested in Julius Randle and Cory Joseph. I absolutely do not want either of those guys.

Randle would be great. Their front court is worse than back

I would be interested in Randle but I don’t love the fit with him. I’d like a defensive minded big nest to Lauri. That’s WCJ, Taj, or someone else. It’s not Randle. But he’s such a unique, intriguing offensive player I’d be interested.

The Bulls are ‘lining up’ to offer a near-max or max deal to Malcolm Brogdon, per Brian Windhorst via Zach Lowe’s podcast. Windhorst believes it’ll be difficult for Milwaukee to match now that Giannis qualifies for the super-max next summer.
The Bulls would have to stretch Felicio’s contract and trade Kris Dunn to help create space for Brogdon.

Never believe anything that comes out of Brian Windhorst's mouth that isn't Lebron related.

That would be great, but I don't have a lot of faith in Windhorst.

Hell no to Kanter.

I feel like the Bulls have been rumored to be in on just about every non max guy out there.

Pretty much any other free agent PF/C out there. Just never been a fan of the guy.
