Goldberg getting his bell rung didn't help either. Time to retire the jackhammer and tombstone as well.

All Out sold out in like 20 minutes...and the cocksucker scalpers are all over it now.

Good times.

Drake, Braun, and EC3 could be a great faction.

Heyman might be able to fix some of this trainwreck.

Bischoff can die in a fire.

I see no reason to believe this is anything significant until and unless the product actually improves. They're both reporting to Vince, which gives me the impression he's still going to have final say over both shows. And I could easily see this being driven by the same paranoia about AEW that led to them giving Goldberg a new contract just to lock him down rather than any actual desire to improve how piss poor their shows have been.

Funny thing, though...these two are in charge of something...WWE Network is showing the Evolve show from the ECW Arena in July...Wrestling coming back to TNT...it's like the Matrix is stuck in a loop.

Bischoff's strength is in producing shows, and with Smackdown changing networks soon, it's a completely logical choice. Maybe we'll even get two shows that look and feel different out of this.

He comes off as far more diplomatic, and probably more well equipped to produce for Fox.

Very much so.

And let's not pretend Eric is devoid of creative ability. Heyman's a mutant in that respect, but Eric wrote huge contracts that also allowed the inmates to run the asylum, that was the problem. I think sometimes we forget the balls it took to turn Hogan and form the NWO.

There was little to no risk from Bischoff's end. Hogan was flat as a babyface. Nobody cared about him. If the heel thing didn't work out, Eric could turn him again and went back to business as usual.

It was a risk for Hogan and his brand.

Seems like a move made because they are getting worried that things are not going to turn around for them and then with AEW getting headlines....

I think they would be better off with HHH getting more responsibility for the main roster. He has done some great things with NXT. And vince seems to be continually shooting himself in the foot with the main roster.

Agreed.

That should be the next big move.

HHH takes control and Heyman and Bischoff report up to him.

Nah the next big move if this doesn't work is to bring back Russo and Cornette too.

I would suggest that it wasn't anywhere near as simple and obvious as you make it sound.

HHH is just fine where he's at right now - I want him taking care of the new folks while Eric & Paul do what they do with the established lot.

Vince isn't going to give up the ultimate say-so until he puts death over. He may ... may ... take a relative moment away to dink around with his football fuck, but whatever happens, he'll never fully step aside.

Russo you can light on fire ... no need for him.

Murder the Raw announcing team and give me Cornette and Ranallo. If Ric Flair could make a broom look good, these two would make it seem like the match of the century.

But, having Ranallo leave NXT wouldn't be good for that brand, so option B is Cornette and Schiavone.

One can dream, anyway.

There's a better chance of Owen Hart wrestling this year than Vince Russo ever stepping in the same building as McMahon ever again.

This is the kind of stuff that is killing the WWE

Quote:
According to the Wrestling Observer, Vince McMahon has been so hell-bent on pushing Baron Corbin as a main event star because of Corbin’s “good looks” and Vince feels women like Corbin big time.

Apparently Rollins and Nakamura tore the house down in Tokyo last night.

So it’s only taken Heyman like 10 minutes to blow up the Titantron.

WWE is now expected to move away from TV PG. WWE Champion Kofi Kingston giving the middle finger to Samoa Joe on SmackDown and Corey Graves saying “Holy Sh*t” on RAW are a few signs that WWE TV is now going to be a little edgier.
