Based on the results of this poll there are 85%+ of people out there who don’t know the sport they are watching. Brady has benefited from the best coach in recent history without a doubt but there should be nobody who watched football the last two decades who think Brady wouldn’t have gotten the better of Manning regardless of coach. I’ve rooted for Rodgers since he came into the league but I still call people idiots who say he’s the most talented QB ever for a reason.

Joe Montana is and always will be the best.

If you’re not cheating you’re not trying. I despise the Patriots and don’t particularly like Brady at all but he’s clearly the best whoever played the position. I’m fine if you’re nostalgic and say Montana was better but there’s too many dopes who think Rodgers and Manning are better and there’s no excuse for that.

There is probably some nostalgia for 80s/90s football but football now is not good. I loved it and I stopped watching in 2010. It's a little bit of a shit show, especially if you compare it to 80/90s. Obviously didn't catch the 70s but love the clips and film.

Brady has edged out Montana, but Rodgers and Marino were hands down better throwers than both of them, and apparently bigger asshats.

i'm definitely in the "montana is the best" camp (which is fast dwindling) and sure it could be nostalgia. i think that argument can be made for any era that people watch football.

but honestly, you cannot take manning over brady in any clutch situation. brady and montana have been the best ever in those situations.
