it seems awfully premature. I didn't hear any complaints about his work ethic. Maybe the rumors about him being a one route receiver with alligator arms were true. There was a lot of hope in him coming into training camp for him to be gone after only two weeks.

He will obviously get a chance elsewhere.

Probably did him a favor.

Too bad. I thought he might be a good addition on special teams.

He seemed to get an irrational amount of love for a UDFA signing.

Preston Williams was the UDFA WR to get this year.

No doubt. Why do him the favor? I would have thought he was primed for a practice squad spot. This seems like a statement about him, not his abilities.

Probably feel he is too soft to waste time on.

Hall underwent sports hernia surgery over the offseason, but he was unable to fully recover from the injury. He missed multiple practices and failed to stand out in training camp in a crowded group of wide receivers.
Seems pretty cut and dry to me. Bears are deep at WR and this guy couldn't get onto the field.

He was a long shot to make the team after the draft with Robinson, Gabriel, Patterson, Miller and Ridley all locked in. Wims has impressed and they also like some of the oheThey would have had to make a space for him. I may be wrong but he doesn't look like he plays special teams which would be essential for a WR at the bottom of the position group

Will they keep Marvin Hall? Smaller guy, but with similar speed and more experience.
