It's a headline fishing statement. He can shoot a shot that was created in 1980 better. He can't do anything else better.

Its a quick take to suggest that but some of the numbers seem to hint that it may not be as far fetched as it seems.

Plus there are offensive moves done now that would not be legal in the golden age of the NBA.

Jordan would have averaged 50 ppg in this no defense NBA. Just shut the fuck up already.

Love to see Harden vs the late 80s/early 90s Pistons.

I think the exorbitant amount of dribbles that Harden is allowed to take should be factored into it as well.

Guys that can really score do not need a hundred dribbles to get their shot off like he does.

I think his playoff performances should also be factored into it also. What does he do when coaches gameplan for him? He tends to come up quite small in those instances.

James Harden would be the 10 or 11th man(on a bad team) for an early 90's NBA job. This is just stupid trolling by 'Jbills.

I don't have amnesia. I know what the NBA talk was Michael's first 5 years. It was brutal from both coasts. I only say this because Harden is at this moment getting a raw deal and his GM is is just having his back. That's all this is.

No one ever questioned Jordan's heart. They only questioned whether he was good enough to lead a team to a title.
The reason people have doubts about Harden has more to do with him coming up small in big moments.

That was never the case with Jordan. Harden has developed a reputation for selling his team out in critical moments. Jordan was never known for that.

With Harden its a fair assessment given the amount of times that it has happened.

 It's funny to listen to Chicagoans whenever the idea that Jordan is "The Best That Ever Was, The Best That Ever Will Be" is challenged.

Jordan's shot might not be good enough for him to start in the modern 3-point NBA circus.

I don't know if there is one. There have been many great players and they are all different from one another. I don't have a problem if you think Jordan is the greatest. But I also don't think it's some unassailable fact that can never be challenged.

Jordan would average 90 in today's NBA and would have come up with a plan to stop mass shootings. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a dumbass.

People challenge it all the time. The fact is there really isn't many plausible arguments against it which is why you won't name a name.

I can name many that I could argue have been greater. But what would the point be? I'm not going to convince you.

 His clanging 3-point shot would be a joke. You know that time he shrugged? That's an off game for today's great guards.
