Dude bears fans know that the 86bbears should have won and underachieved. You'll do well to stop being in denial on this and accept it like we do.

The 2011 packers underachieved even more. But they made the NFC championship game in 2014 and 2016 and Rodgers has been hurt two of the other years. Favre won three straight MVPs and made back to back Super Bowls. You sound ridiculous.

Oh he had an owie.
It's ok to underachieve when you've got an owie.

If you want to say Rodgers and/or Favre underachieved, fine I don’t agree but I also think it’s not worth debating and you have an argument. But if you’re putting them on the Top 4 most underachieving athletes list you’ve lost your damn fool mind.

Top 4? Your thread title is guys who should have been better. If you ask for dontrelle Willis i get rodgers and or favre.
Willis is no where near top 4. Tell ya what tho prior on the top 4 sounds legit.

Donovan McNabb - he is a Hall of Very Good but had he played better and won that Super Bowl, he'd have been an easy HOFer.

Daunte Culpepper - showed himself to be pretty one-dimensional...and that dimension was randy moss.

Kyle Boller - top pick for Great Name But Bad Player.

Reggie Bush - his best NFL effort was the Cardinals playoff game in 2010, and his whole career should've been like that. had great speed but no moves.

William Green - part of the collective of Browns 1st round picks that were complete busts. Courtney Brown, Tim Couch, too.

i think of willis like hideo nomo. both had mystifying wind-ups that fooled batters, but little else. once batters figured them out, they were nobodies.

Inget that you're really upset that favre and Rodgers underperformed. But its true. You say greatest that ever played. So 20 plus years of among the greatest ever played and two spaced out titles. So its readily apparent they should have been better.
Favre especially. For such an amazing QB way too many turnovers. Sad really.
I know you're a fanboy and super upset about it. I expected that.

Since we're talking football and championship bullshittery I'll add Romo to the list of underachievers.

I’m not much younger than you. That’s why I think it’s sad you’ve wasted your entire Bears fandom, and your entire Cub watching fandom outside of 2016. Pretty miserable outlook. But again, you just don’t get how hard it is to win a Super Bowl. Brady broke your brain. My little brother is 23 and thinks similarly but I think he’ll gain perspective as he ages.

Yeah that bullshit won't push my buttons like you're hoping it will.
When you look at Favre some day honestly you'll agree he should have been better. Can't turn the ball over like he did and be a goat.
But you're a huge fan. Named yourself after him. I'm pretty sure you have zero potential to be objective which is why I kinda dont fuckin care about this.

Favre could have been better is so vague as to render the statement meaningless. It’s a statement that applies to every player and every person ever. I’m not even much of a Favre fanboy when it comes to all time lists and all that nonsense. Nas and I have argued for a decade now about him and he always thinks he was better than I think he was.

And I’m not trying to push your buttons. Just pointing out the obvious - you didn’t understand what this thread was about and/or you sounded ridiculous and juvenile in your attempt to push Favre and Rodgers into such a discussion.

Gordon I like. I can’t abide Garland. #2005

Garland rode Contreras' coattails in 05. He was touted as an ace, but turned out to be a number 2 starter on a good team at best.

And yet he won 50 more games than the great Kerry Wood.
