2) If the team was not in a position to win, then how was Parkey in a position to kick the field goal? Wouldn't the field goal have won the game?

The defense gave up 2 touchdowns in the 2nd half and one of them came with less than a min left after the Bears had taken the lead a few mins earlier with a touchdown pass to Robinson. Fangio's inability to get a late game stop and the leg of Parkey is why the Bears lost. Playoff games don't have the same rules as regular season games when it comes to holding a team under _____ points.

1)The kicker tryout was held in May. Nagy hasn't brought up Parkey's miss since then.

2)If the kickers couldn't cope with the pressure and negativity deliberately manufactured by Nagy and his staff during the tryout, how could these snowflakes possibly navigate the stress of a standard NFL game (especially with Parkey's miss looming in the background)? Nagy tested the kickers by examining how they would perform in a difficult situation. Most of them failed the test.
Only two kickers, Bednarski and Fry, made more than 73% of their kicks during the tryout.

3)The Bears have run a conventional kicking competition since training camp opened in late July. Focusing on a three-day tryout--a minuscule part of the Bears offseason program--reflects a negative bias on the part of the SI reporter and a high degree of gullibility on your part.

4)Nagy is the reigning PFWA and AP Coach of the Year. You are spouting off like a half-cocked loon who routinely injures his head after passing out at a local watering hole and falling off his barstool. Do you live in Newark or Flint? You may be drinking lead-contaminated water.

If it were up to me and I'd bet pretty much 95+% of the players who play football, if they eliminated field goals from the game entirely, they would be happy. Kickers are not football players. Not anymore anyway. And when these dingbats run their mouth, I'd bet coaches and football players say pretty much exactly what I just stated.
