I'd like to see a few guys grab the opportunity and win their spots on the roster: Barrs, Whyte, Woods, Bunting.

I want to see more consistent play from Shelley. They raved about him in training camp. He has made some nice plays and looks like a good tackler. I haven't loved his work in coverage.

Hopefully Duck earns a spot on the PS. I'd like to see more of him but he does not have NFL CB speed.

The morning guys suggested that the Bears should line up for a FG every time they reach the opponent 35, even on 1st down. If they attempt 7 field goals, so be it.

The only roster spots up for grabs are likely the bottom feeders who can be backups to the backup, but contribute on special teams. So it makes sense.


There could be all sorts of nasty weather in the area later on, so if there is thunder and lightning and whatnot just shitcan this game at halftime and send everybody home mildly happy.

Will there be more guys who will be starting next year in the NFL playing in Clemson/Ga Tech game or in this last exhibition game? I'll watch most of it, but I'm a football nerd who watches replays of first quarters of other teams pre-season games on my days off. Bars will likely get a long look and will be watching to see if he's able to move his feet well enough to play tackle. Will a TE, any TE on the roster successfully single block anyone in pass protection? Guys are likely playing for practice squad spots tonight, which is still a better gig than working a 9 to 5 like the rest of us jabronis.
