I have $200 that says the Bears will win more than 7 games.

Scared Packers fan. You picked them to go 7-9 and now you're scared to put your money where your mouth is.

I don't take dumb bets my friend. I believe you were put in a similar situation regarding the Clippers and Lakers and also wouldn't put your money where your mouth was.

No loyalty to either team. I tried to make a deal with you but once again you were afraid. Similar to the Finals wager that you're probably glad you didn't make.

I had the Raptors to win the series. I was never going to bet against Kawhi. You were late to the party....again.

You didn't believe. That's why you were willing to wager but we couldn't work out a number. I had the Raptors in 6.

7-9 for the Packers and 10-6 for the Bears seem like perfectly reasonably if not plausible predictions.

Agreed. Flipping those records is equally reasonable and plausible though.

I don't see the Bears underachieving that much, as I don't see the Packer overachieving that much.

Neither would be overachieving or underachieving by much. They both have an O/U of 9.5 wins.

I thought you may want to put money on your team.

Already got $50 on them with Hank and $100 on them with you and IMU. That seems sufficient. Not all of us got that Young Nas money

Bears D is elite but the offense sucks nuts. Trubisnky will make the Packers D look a lot better than it is. Add a couple of missed kicks now that it’s showtime and we have a 27-10 shellacking. Bears embarrass themselves.

Packers will be fired up when they see Packers legend Jay Cutler in the stadium. He’s an inspiration and reminder of the Golden Years.

offense doesn't suck. They are above average at every skill group...except the most important (and TE) and that may have remedied itself with experience. I am pretty confident in saying Pro Bowl QB Mitch doesn't suck. I don't know if he is good.

I don’t think I’d call the Bears WR corps above average. Their best WR certainly isn’t above average for a WR1

Cordarrelle Patterson will essentially be another TE.

Nagy will likely give the Pack a few surprise looks early, will be up to Mitch to hit the open guys he didn't see last year. That will likely be the story all year long. The D will be able to keep games close if the O can just get to middle of the league the team will be in playoffs.

ESPN simluator has Packers at 13-3 and the Bears at 8-7-1.

SI has the Bears finishing last in the North at 7-9 and the Pack in 2nd place at 10-6 (1st=Vikings@11-5)

Do you really believe the Bears will be 1-4 heading in to their bye?

I had no idea the offense was 21st in the league last year. Wasted a banner year by the defense.

C'mon now, you can't really say that Matt. They went 12-4, and won the division. And if that D could have made one stop in the 2nd half against Green Bay or Miami, they would have had a bye in those playoffs. I agree they drastically underachieved in losing to the Eagles, but you gotta crawl before you can run. This was coming off of four years of the Bears basically being an NFL doormat-- John Fox won 14 games total as Bears HC. It was a remarkable turnaround.

Mack will put Eron on the injured list for the season And (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky will begin his all-pro season unimpeded by a pathetic Packer's defense.

Frank, forget the lament over the bye week. In the biggest game of the year, Cody Parkey, the whipping boy for all 2018 Bears problems, outscored the offense.

Every expert at CBS is picking the Packers to win. I'm also seeing the Packers in the top 5 of all power rankings. What am I missing here?

I haven't seen the Packers in the top 5 of any power ranking.

Even LeRoy Butler thinks the Bears are the best team in the division.
