I am under doctor's orders to avoid him as much as possible for the next 36 hours or so.

I will likely crash in a friend's basement or get a hotel.

Get a halfway decent hotel room and watch some baseball. Order food and relax and get well

Sound advice.

My MIL is having some serious issues. I think this is time #4 (or maybe 5, I've lost count) into rehab. Its causing friction between my wife and I. After six years of her nonsense, I am unable and unwilling to support her this time round. She was told if she does this again, our son will have one grandmother and I'm willing to hold that bottom line. Nobody else is willing to hold theirs and its very sad, frustrating, and makes me hurt and quite angry.

Its really fucking awful when the biggest problem in a marriage is a third party. I don't even know what to do or say anymore.

what issues? what rehab? Why is that causin' friction? Be more specific.

That sux. So horrible. I thought 55 had a huge grass field as the median, how the fuck do u jump that?

I've been a Sprint customer for 18 years and now they're going to become T-mobile. That sucks! It's basically like I'm starting from scratch. I can no longer use the time I've been a customer to complain and get a discount.

You will love T Mobile. They have great service and awesome perks. The T Mobile Tuesdays are worth it.

This strep has seriously beat me the fuck up. My throat and chest is so sore I cant talk any louder than a whisper, my arms hurt, my knees are sore. I seriously havent been this throttled since I had pneumonia back 14 years ago in Bozeman. I hope the worst is behind me cuz this shit is really frustrating.

Hippocratic Oath LLC.

The past 3 weeks have been a real eye-opener for just how fucked up our healthcare system is. From deceptive business practices at the admissions desk to mismanagement of care to outright incompetency. Everyone listens, but nobody hears you.

The final fuck you to Furious was being prescribed a medication I'm allergic to and hearing the Physician Assistant effectively blame me vs., you know, taking fucking responsibility for not asking me.

Then I noticed J.D. on his shop coat along with his PA degree. (no, it wasn't that jackass from Scrubs). Like I'm going to continue to go round and round with Nurse Dolphin. In my deteriorating and medicated condition, I was the only one managing my healthcare.

Consider yourself blessed that you have an in-house healthcare provider, Frank.

The single worst part of football season are Notre Dame fans. As insufferable as Red Sox, Cubs, and Packers fans are, I am not sure there is a more annoying group on the face of the Earth than Irish football fans. Most of these people make Cowboys fans seem like Royalty.

Thanks. Your WS thoughts aside yesterday would have been her 24th birthday.

Medical error is the leading cause of death in the nation for a reason. There are a ton of doctors who are only in it for the money.

when we first got married we had nextel phones which became sprint. basically outside of chicago and to the west, there was nearly 0 coverage. my wifes parents lived in wyoming and once we got past omaha we were phoneless. we switched to verizon. i recently traveled to denver (we drove we had 2 stops along the way in iowa and NE) with a coworker who had sprint. apparently not much has changed from 15 years ago.

my wife had post treatment lyme as well as bartonella. the amount of time and money wasted seeing multiple doctors, specialists, blood tests was so mind numbing I couldn't believe it. meanwhile my wife has all these crazy symptoms of neuropathy, severe fatigue, and all sorts of other crap.

We finally did a ton of research and vetting (a friend of ours is a chemistry professor so he had tons of access to industry journals). we settled on a dr in Denver who treated it with some wizardy crap in april and its basically gone.

2 years of that bullshit. and amazingly her CHIROPRACTOR guffawed at her treatment plan and suggested it was all mental.

its basically applied kinesiology. He was a doctor for NASA for a large number of years. he said that when he was in Europe working with different Space programs they all used this method of diagnosis and treatment as a methodology along side regular medicinal treatments. It intrigued him because here in the states that stuff would never be considered "medical". He did his thing and put her on a myriad of different medicines. some natural.

It wasn't insanely expensive either.

I'm pretty stuffed up and I didn't sleep all that well last night, but I'm finally starting to feel better. Haven't had a fever since late Sunday and my throat is hardly sore anymore.

THank goodness.
