It is well known that there is a fine line between genius and insanity, but perhaps there is even a finer line between genius and ignorance, lucid ignorance; the person who coherently loses all concept of life, who intentionally, or not, forgets what it means to ‘be’, ends up dwelling, as we have seen, in the precarious realm between ecstasy and derangement.

It made sense to me. And it made sense to anyone else who can read English too, I imagine.
Steve, we will use smaller words for you in the future.

His rash fierce blaze of riot cannot last,
For violent fires soon burn out themselves;
Small showers last long, but sudden storms are short;
He tires betimes that spurs too fast betimes;
With eager feeding food doth choke the feeder;
Light vanity, insatiate cormorant,
Consuming means, soon preys upon itself.

well the good news for steve is that he can pat himself on the back enough for 10-12 people, so he doesn't really need anyone on his side i guess.

Well, originally Oscar Levents dialogue in Helium included the line "There is a fine line between genius and insanity, and I have erased that line. He was a very troubled but humourous Author, composer and talented Pianist.

Nice call. So let me get this straight.... when you actually make predictions, they are often not true, and when the Sox do struggles, you falsely claim you saw it coming all along, correct? Like Frank and many, many others have said, I should just ignore you, but it's amusing pointing out your ignorance.

And by the way... you will be forever called out if you refuse to pay that joke of a bet you accepted. Talk about being goaded into a losing venture....

Insanity is sometimes confused for genius....ignorance is not. For example, you're ignorant of the fact that you quoted somebody but spelled their name incorrectly. That's neither genius nor insanity. Nor is not using the apostrophe s after the name OR not closing the quotes after "....erased that line."
But thanks for providing this section with your daily smattering of ignorance.

While you, on the other hand, are an untalented penis.

FF-The series is not over. As for the bet-I never welch like the low-life asshole Frank, but it will be you, that has to pay, when THE CUBS END THE WAIT IN 2008!!!Oh, and FF, you might want to look over your post again-When the sox do struggles,-that sentence needs a bit of work.

Westmont-glad you know how to spell Levants properly. Just thought people might want to know where the quote was from.

Thanks for letting us know who you were quoting...at least it wasn't Gene Simmons this time. And it's Levant, not Levants.

It was YOU that was quoting Oscar Levant, not me. Ironically,Gene Simmons, the famous rocker from Kiss, has not been a drug and alcohol abuser, but Oscar Levant, an author, and composer, most certainly was.

What happened to moving on to the Pirate's thread?

Oh, thats right. The Sox won last nite so you have nothing of substance to add. Which I guess is the same thing that happens when they lose, so carry on..

Actually, Steve, I wasn't quoting Oscar Levant.
