There used to be a place on Waukegan Road near Techy, I think it was called Caraval or Caravan or something. My family ate out once a week, all around Glenview/Skokie/Morton Grove, and my mom's hair dresser was in Glenview. So eventually teenage me asked my parents why we never tried Caraval and my mom responded something along the lines of "because none of us want to have sex with 60 year old divorced women."

I once entertained a stripper in a small east Dubuque club with a c section scar. This was one of those clubs with a low ceiling and shag carpeting on the walls. I was in the front row, but really, the place was so small everyone was in the front row so I had a very close look at what was going on. East Dubuque strippers aren't as upscale as big town strippers like Peoria. She had some hard miles on her. Still it really wasn't as off-putting as you would think. She was a pleasant conversationalist with a morally easygoing disposition
