Nagy had an entire offseason, or at least the preseason, to come up with a game plan for Week 1 and his offense looked absolutely putrid.

I expect much more from someone frequently touted as an offensive guru.

I don't think they would have lit up the scoreboard if they would have played more in the preseason, but they likely would not have looked so woeful. Not to mention that saying more reps in the preseason would not have made any difference at all is an indictment of his abilities to devise an offensive game plan.

After hearing that press conference, I'm not so sure. It's like he had no direct input on the lack of running plays.

He only worked under Andy Reid prior to the Bears so it isn't a shock if he struggles with in game coaching.

Once Nagy figures out that putting Montgomery and Cohen on the field at the same time is a problem for any defense.. it will get interesting.
