Get him whatever medication he needs so he can get on the field or leave him slumped in an alley.

I don't trust the guy.
And you can't game plan and include him in it.

Cheryl Burton would have played more games at this point.

There is something wrong mentally with him. He has too much anxiety to run certain plays. He becomes mysteriously injured before the most important games. He can't be relied on.

There was a clip posted somewhere of him running routes in warm ups. He looked good enough to go.

Shouldn't miss a beat with second round pick Adam Shaheen backing him up.

Did his body "lock up" when he cashed his playoff check, or did that go OK?

Big atmosphere. I'm sure he'll be fine for Week 3 against the Redskins

I think he has a lot of talent but if the cap hit is not prohibitive, they need to move on from him. How can you possibly rely on him?

Heard an interview with him 5 months ago.. I'm paraphrasing here but basically said-

When I got into the league I had to play hurt for fear of losing a roster spot.. now I'm paid, I'm not playing unless I'm 100% healthy.

Soft as shit, Greg Olsen was a shit blocker and he's twice as physical and twice the blocker this soft bitch is.

He's cut after the season and I can't wait.

He's gone at the end of the year, there's an easy out that saves them a few million in cap space.

I dont know why TE wasn't more of a priority in the off-season but I suppose they really did have limited means to fix everything. The truth is that aside from Mike Davis all these acquisitions they made (including Montgomery) make a lot of sense and have worked out at least decently. They weren't going to find a solution to the TE problem with the Mike Davis money or the fourth round that was spent on Riley Ridley.

Either way I really like Dax Reymond who just got bumped to the practice squad. He's an interesting weapon that they've gone out of their way to keep around and get back in the 2019 mix.

I actually dont hate Shaheen either. He's a fine #2 TE that was definitely overdrafted but still isn't a total bust.

I think Shaheen blows, he's probably in the bottom 5% of Ends in the league and a new group will burst into the scene in September. He's not a starter on a decent offense

Decent redzone TE who can block has a place on an NFL roster.

Stay off of the fucking field then!

“It’s weird,” Burton said. “Because you’re in a position where you want to play as hard as you can but you don’t want to get hurt. You gotta figure out a fine line.”

The Mike Davis signing made sense. They just misjudged Montgomery.

Barely when he’s not particularly good at either facet and can’t stay healthy. There’s not much there. Consider how many years you’re hoping now on him when a guy like Dawson Knox is available in the middle rounds of every draft.

In the Sun-Times today. He talked about trying to survive the Broncos game without getting hurt.

Regarding this I’m actually surprised the Sox haven’t signed some slugger like Dunn only for him to sit out because he’s worried about being hit by a pitch. Maybe it happens this year.

I couldn't believe that a football player was saying that.
