So in the past 370 days, the Raiders have had the best defensive player and offensive player in football on their roster. They could not keep either of them happy.

Sometimes. But in reality I think as little of Gruden as I do of another overrated blowhard like Ditka. :D

Your fixation on Gruden is another thing altogether. Reggie McKenzie shit the bed the as GM. Are you not familiar with his body of work? Any reason you chose to be obtuse about it?

Ever since Al lost his marbles they've been trading off of the legacy of the great teams of the 60s to the 80s. It's maddening, so I choose to laugh, instead of being sad/angry about what's been squandered.

It's really no surprise the Patriots are the early favorites to land AB. Bill Belichick and company are famous for turning disgruntled/troubled superstars into happy campers en route to their latest Lombardi Trophy. They did it with running back Corey Dillon, receiver Randy Moss and most recently brought in wideout Josh Gordon. In general, it's worked out for New England.

Did any of those guys do anything as ridiculous as what Brown has done? I would be shocked if the Patriots signed him.

Yes. Gordon has a history of abusing drugs, Moss quit on his teams, literally showed his ass, purposely hit a traffic officer and Dillon was a bigger cancer.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

About the only guy in the league (Belichik) that will whip this fuckhead into shape.

This pretty much guarantees Patriot's Super Bowl victory.

Watching them and the Chiefs will be a lot of fun. I'm glad the Packers or Saints didn't get him.
