You should probably just recycle your old Cutler posts and put them here if you’re going to go this route .

I didn't like Cutler. I'm a Grossman guy.

I think it is more about just wanting to move on from it. It was one game and then a week and a half until the next game. There has been plenty of time for everyone to talk about it. They have a game on Sunday. What happened last Thursday shouldn't be at all on their minds.

Good to see Nagy is developing as a coach.

A positive to see his realization that his obsession on the double-doink loss was an embarrassment.

If it were Mitch saying it himself, I don't think people would care. It's the "I was told" that makes it concerning.

100% agree, but there are better ways to do/say this than have your QB coming off of a rotten game say, "I was told not to talk about the game" six days after the fact.

That is my biggest problem with him. He can run, he can throw, but he is unable to not throw it to AROB.
Also, RUN THE FUCKING FOOTBALL.

THIS.

As far as Mitch's comment that he's not allowed to talk about the last game....are guys new to Bears ownership??? My God, this is SUCH a Bears thing to do. In terms of PR the Bears are always prone to doing the worse PR thing possible. It's a Bears thing. Mitch isn't stupid....he's just not a very good QB and the Bears as an org can't help but handle Press Conferences any way but the wrong way.

(Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky doesn't seem very media savvy. They should have him watch the tape of other quarterbacks who just repeat the same cliches over and over again like Brees and Brady. Even coach killers like Rodgers and Cutler were smart enough to do the work behind the scenes and put up a unified front to the media.

No idea why he had to come public with the I was told. Perhaps he is just an honest kid and there is a strong philosphy amongst the team that Nagy is firm about. Something as simple as no one talks about a past game good or bad after day X?

Winning solves a lot of these problems. I’m not worried about it after a season opener. If this is still happening mid season.. then there’s a big problem.

Shae Peppler has more than a little Julie DiCaro in her.

Just heard her thoughts on why "people need to stop talking about this."

What a nutjob.

Yes. And not sure if he's football smart.
