The offensive line can only get better, so we have that going for us.

0 sacks allowed yesterday.

I don't care if its boring, gd. Win 10 games and get into the playoffs, and we'll see what happens.

There are a lot of guys who have to play better- Mitch #1- but there are a lot of games left, and a lot of talent on this roster. Hopefully this win loosens them up a bit and they come out of the gate strong @Washington.

of course. I'd just like to see opposing teams take five step drops and get sacked. The last 6+ quarters have essentially been three and slant or drop off to the RB.

I'd like to see the run D play a little better yesterday and resulting in 2/3 and longs that demanded bigger drops.

Agreed. That is a two way street. The defense could not get off the field in the second half, and they were absolutely gassed by the end of the game. If that game went to OT and the Bears didn't score first, they were going to lose. Broncos were also 3/3 (and Packers were 1/1) on 4th downs so that is concerning.

The offense had some time consuming drives in the 1st half, and then could not do anything in the second half. This is three straight games of the Bears doing little to nothing in the way of halftime adjustments. I don't mind a commitment to the run at all, especially in a place like Denver. But for the love of God if you are going to run three straight times 3 yards short of a TD, get your goal line package in there. No reason to have 3 WR in a short yardage situation.

Exactly, because getting "screwed" by refs goes both ways. One week Bears fans are whining the next they're sending bouquets and thank you cards

Nagy just needs time. He's only had one season as a head coach. He doesn't have elite offensive players.

Am I doing it right?

They called roughing the passer the same way for both sides. If anything, the Bears lost out in the way it was called. The only advantage was that it was finally called against Denver on a critical drive.

He hitched his wagon to mentally weak person at his most critical offensive position.

I'm just teasing JERKWOOD

He is right on that Floyd "penalty" though. If you're going to call that, just get rid of tackling and helmets and officially make it flag football.

You saw the numbers. Denver is a nearly impossible place to win in September. The Bears did what almost no team over the past 20 years has done in a Bronco home opener. This was a Herculean task that they completed.

The game shouldn't have been close. Everything was in the Bears favor. Superior talent at nearly every position, extra time to prepare, opponent on a short week...

Bears should've crushed these bums.

The Broncos will be a top 10 defense in the NFL this year with Miller/Chubb up front and one of the best lock down corners in the NFL and Fangio leading the way.

I was away at a golf weekend and could not watch and only followed on phone and read afterward. Unless you are Rams/Saints last year you shouldn't blame refs. Those things generally even out. The only excuse I can even accept (haven't fully decided yet) would be some real dumb idea for a game plan due to Nagy having a fear of Fangio knowing him too well. Nothing else really flies. That was bad QB and offense all around.

I said after 2 seasons so clearly I am counting the first. How much do you think Dowell helped (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky's development? Is there an elite player who plays a skill position on the Bears offense? Just because they've been active isn't the same as getting really good or elite guys. (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky had a good season last year. I don't think 2 games erases that, you do.

Somehow, Allen Robinson had 80 receptions for 1400 yards and 14 TDs with the great Blake Bortles throwing him the ball.

Speaking of Bortles....drafted in 2014. In his 2nd season...4738 total yards with 37 TDs. With the all star supporting class of Robinson, Allen Hurns, TJ Yeldon and Julius Thomas.

I don't like the fact that in some ways (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky looks worse than he did at any point last year but I'm not going to panic yet. He's taking care of the ball and should be able to get healthy next week.

Allen Robinson is coming back from a major knee injury. He's the only really good player at a skilled position, but he's not elite. There isn't an elite player on offense.

I disagree. The Goldman penalty was borderline; the Denver call was abominable.

Nagy turtled the offense for the same reason Fangio did his. The game plan for both sides was, essentially, to kick a game winning field goal.

The Bears do not have superior talent at every position. That Bronco DL is pretty magnificent.

I'll admit this right now, I overrated the Bear WR talent. Emmanuel Sander and Courtland Sutton are a great duo.

Broncos have at least two and maybe more TE that are better than any one the Bears have.

I agree...in fact, I'm surprised Denver didn't blanket him on the last play.

It’s sad MANY Bears fans don’t know what elite QB play looks like.

Oh, we do. We've seen the Bears play against Favre and Rodgers twice a year.

I think he got free because (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky extended the play. Nagy has no trust in (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky and other offensive players. He coaches scared and conservative.

We've never had an elite quarterback or WR in my lifetime. Grossman was that guy for 6 games and then the league made an adjustment.

There’s been plenty of elite QBs to watch in our lifetimes to get an idea of how they play.

Allen Robinson is the only really good player on offense and he's barely a top 5 receiver in his own division. (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky needs to play much better but I think we all need to have a little perspective when it comes to this offense.
