Only Bears receivers run poor routes, no other qb has to deal with that other Mitch.

It not about reading. It's trusting receivers to get separation or at the very least be where the play calls for them to be.

The go routes he's missed spectacularly on are really inexcusable.

I will give him a pass on the interception he threw because its very obvious Robinson did not play the ball well at all and it left Mitch out to dry. I dont want to be unreasonable in my criticism, but I've been defending this guy for the better part of two years now and he just looks like the same ol Caller Bob he always has.

I'm concerned about our receivers frequently not being where they are supposed to be. That really important on timing routes when you have to throw to a spot. It could lead to interceptions instead of in completions.

The book on him coming out of college was he was accurate on intermediate routes and didn't have the touch on deep balls. I saw improvement last year and have only seen a few shots this season. Robinson was shoved out of bounds before getting his 2nd foot down on one.

I heard that excuse when Cutler was QB.

Be careful about underestimating Washington. They played against a healthy Wentz and a Super Bowl offense Dallas. They went toe to toe with both teams.

Washington's offense will likely get skinned alive.

Wentz could have thrown five interceptions last weekend, maybe more.

If you read the Athletic you will know all his WRs just ran the wrong routes.

Wentz is almost as bad as (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky.

If Wentz was a little bit worse at everything he would still be a clear cut better player than Mitch.

You're thinking of pre-injury Wentz which is almost an entirely different player.

Also, Wentz was beat to shit early in the game in week 2. Along with half his team.

Nah. I watched both games this year. He was excellent in Week 1 and had a bad game last week but still made the type of clutch plays he became known for in 2017. We probably aren’t having this discussion right now if Agholor holds on to the easiest go ahead TD pass ever.

There aren't any bad QBs these days. Just o-lines who can't block and WRs who have no idea where they're running. It's an epidemic

(Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky sucks. One of the bigger Bears busts in recent history given the cost. He'd probably be even with Kevin White if dumbass Pace didn't trade up one spot to grab a basketball school's football product.

I'm concerned about our receivers frequently not being where they are supposed to be. That really important on timing routes when you have to throw to a spot. It could lead to interceptions instead of in completions.

Timing routes? I'm close to 100% positive I didnt see that this last weekend.

Did you see the pass near the end of the game that was behind Robinson? Well that pass was exactly where Robinson should have been. Did you see the overthrow of Gabriel? Gabriel cut off the correct route. Both would have been big plays.

Timing the epochs it takes for (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky to get to his second read.

I'm not saying that they ran poor routes. Im saying I dont think I've seen a straight up timing route this season. Maybe we define it differently. I think of a timing route as a QB throwing to a receiver who's not even looking, he cuts and the ball is in his numbers. I dont think mitch can do that.

You think Mitch was worse last year than he was the year prior?

No, but he sure seems worse this year than last year.

Faced a great defense week 1. All his WRs ran the wrong route in week 2.

Another guy the Bears traded up to draft, Anthony Miller, also seems to have regressed. Or is he still hurt? This wouldn't seem to bode well for David Montgomery.

Can Nagy actually develop young players?

Wait until the end of the year before declaring his career a bust.

Everyone is pointing out the same weaknesses as they did last year. The more we wait for him to learn how to walk (do basic things) the more the window of opportunity closes. He's football illiterate - not exactly a recipe for success.
