no, not the roughing calls

On Fuller's interception, he was neither out of bounds nor down by contact. That should have been a pick six and effectively ended the game. Yet, we saw no mention of it on the telecast. We saw no reviews of it (I don't think coaches could review). Nothing...and it was blatantly wrong.

Initially I agreed. Then I saw a replay of that INT shortly after it happened, and I am certain his back knee hit the ground. Whether that would have been ruled down by contact or not, I don't know.

Not a good board day for dolphin.

I just saw the Chubb call for roughing.

Without that call, you would still have an unproven kicker. Clearly the most important play of the game.

1. That isn't a definitive touch
2. The knee isn't down in that frame

Doesn't make the play any less important for the Bears and their search for a kicker.

except they aren't

I see his calf hovering above the grass but not the knee and I don't see a touch. I see the inside of his jersey and shoulder pads making it appear that his fingers touch

I mentioned in the game thread that I didn't think he was down. The tv crew did nothing with it so we rewound the DVR a few times. They show 2 what look to be clear angles and I swear on one angle he's down and on the other he's not.

idk, maybe you are blind, but his knee is clearly touching the grass and the Bronco player is clearly touching him. It's not really up for debate or interpretation.

Are you saying the calf was touching the ground but not his knee?

I thought he was going to blow out a knee or tear up an ankle the way he awkwardly slipped on that play.

It was mostly terribly officiated but I'll give these refs some credit for finally giving Khalil Mack even a fraction of the holding calls he deserves.

It's all in the eye of the beholder. Some men see a Bakhtari hold and consider it a great block.

Go ahead and tell me you see the knee down at about 16:00. Make sure you watch both angles

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dU0AWA_i1jQ&t=915s

also, Dix caused the interception and might have even tipped the ball

I watched both angles and yes, it looks like it touched the ground. Other than you I haven't heard anyone - including Fuller - say otherwise.

Fuller jumped the route, and his knee was down. There was a ref barely 5 yards from the play who called it correctly.

Look at the slow motion and freezes at 16:39. You can clearly see Fuller's left knee on the ground. Well, I mean we can but for some reason you are still fighting this nonsense.

Fair enough, I'll admit that I didn't have the sound up but the video still appears to show his knee touching the ground. That said, has Fuller claimed his knee didn't touch? Did he even seem surprised when it became clear he had been called down?
