The pressure was never on the Bears in this game really. They got that pick six and everyone knew it was kinda over.

Its excruciating to watch but the Bears let teams put together drives when the Bears are off to big leads. Trading clock for points is usually OK when you have the Bears personnel and then someone always seems to make a play when you start to get really nervous. As long as you dont give up quick TD's its very hard to let teams come back on you down three scores.

Should win these next two games pretty easily then its the Saints. We really dont know how good they'll be with Ted Bridgewater but I have a feeling by the time the Bears game rolls around they'll be a very sturdy opponent.

Should beat the Vikings easily? That’s amusing.

It’ll be a toss up

Stopping the run will be important. That's something that the Bears have done fairly well in big games.

I think the Bears should best the Vikings next week but it won’t be easy. It will almost certainly be another ugly game.

Division games are rarely easy. It's an important game. Short week too.

Kirk Cousins in a big road game. If the Bears cant win this week they dont deserve the playoffs.

They're a run first football team.

The Bears beat up on a lousy football team with a really lousy defense. Mitch was lousy on anything but short passes except on 1 throw to Gabriel, where the receiver made a great play by the pylon. The offense got the benefit of a very short field on several occasions thanks to turnovers by the Redskins. But when given a longer field to negotiate, Trubiski did not have much success. 2 of his touchdown passes were ridiculously easy, thanks to the inept Redskin defense. We will see where Mitch really is next game VS the Vikings. If Nagy is smart, he will run the ball......a lot, to avoid Mitch giving the game to Minnesota on a platter.

Hopefully Hicks is OK since he is great against the run and Nichols, another good run-stopper, is out. RRH seems to be mostly a pass rusher, and Nick Williams doesn't inspire confidence against the run or pass.

It sure looked to me like they will be missing Hicks next week.

I wonder how the guy who openly trash talked about having (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky beat them is feeling today. You probably should avoid doing that when your own quarterback isn't any better.

Hicks doesn't need to touch a football field until Sunday. Let him rest as much as possible and see if the knee stops barking over the next 4-5 days.

Piniero worries me a little more than Hicks. He definitely was in some pain last night, and pushed everything to the right. Rainy and 10-15mph wins on Sunday shows the long range forecast.

I think it was. He did get an interception on him though.

Why did Nagy trot an obviously injured Piniero out there with 4 minutes to play, up by 13 and facing a 4th and 2? Run that football down their throat and start taking a knee.

False.

Minnesota's run game will go crazy without Hicks on the field.

A. Nagy is a bad coach
B. Piniero Injury has been exaggerated and really isn't an injury
C. Both A and B
D. Neither A or B

I'm going with the answer is C.

I agree. Listening to that broadcast was painful to the ears. What a terrible broadcast that was.

Did he comment on that throw after the game? It seemed like he thought that the receiver was going to stop and instead he released. I thought that he should have tucked the ball in and run for the first down.
