Current NFC North standings:
Packers 3-0
Lions 2-0-1
Vikings 2-1 (GB loss)
Bears 2-1 (GB loss)

Best division in the league. Should be s fun fight the rest of the year. I expect the Lions to fade.

Best division in football.

It's gonna be a b.itch. The winner won't have the best record in the NFC. Cuz they have the best division and will beat up each other. But the winner will be the best team in the NFC. Not to mention the non division teams the Bears have.

Division games haven't started yet. Only a few. Here we go.

Its an OK division. None of the teams are really good but none of them are really bad either, well at least until the Lions inevitably collapse. The Vikings are above-average defensively with a good running game. But their QB is a complete headcase who falls apart in every big moment. Their defense and running game are not outstanding enough to make up for Cousins and Cousins himself doesn't do enough to redeem his shitty play.

Its a two-team race.

Nobody except for delusional rubes like FF think the Packers defense is anything more than kinda decent. Nobody except for delusional rubes like Nas think Mitch (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is anywhere close to being able to put the team on his back against quality opponents. These are two flawed teams.

The Bears have the better overall roster, and are at least two or three tiers ahead of the Packers defensively, but the Bears are simply not as good as they were last year and have looked sloppy and undisciplined in all three games. (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky has his moments but he cannot put quality opponents out of reach no matter how well the Bears defense is playing.

The Packers have graduated their defense to somewhere in the middle third of the league. Which in any of the year's past would be plenty for Rodgers to destroy teams, but Rodgers is clearly in some stage of decline. The extent of this decline remains to be seen but he is obviously not at the heights of his abilities anymore.

It'll come down to whoever stays healthier and makes the most improvement as the season goes on. Right now the Chiefs and Patriots are clearly the NFL's two best teams and drop-off to next best (probably the Rams) is massive. A lot can change though, its a long season.

It’s exciting. It is a lot more fun when all the teams are decent, and each game matters a lot.

I agree. It sort of stinks though when there is a year when one of the other divisions in the conference is so bad that you end up with an 11-5 team stealing the bye when you beat each other to death to get to 9-7.

Sometimes thats what happens. This is going to be a great division. 3 total losses in the entire division. By contrast, the AFC North has 3 total victories

Two total losses, both to the mighty Green Bay Packers. Undefeated when facing non-NFC North foes.

My God, you are worse than my Milwaukee co-workers. We should just cancel the remaining 13 games and just hand the trophy over to Aaron Rodgers. :puker:

Seeing the Bear where they rightfully belong in last place lets you know not everything in the world is going to shit. Nice consolation in these crazy times.

This division is dogshit and if we don't win it it's truly humiliating.

I’m not sure it’s possible to overreact more to one game than you have.

From the guy who anointed the Packers as the best defense in the NFL after beating up on Joe Flacco and Kirk Cousins.

Hey, Antarctica. Are you somebody from before?

The best defense in the NFL was clearly hyperbole, but they’re also clearly very good after dominating 3 games and having one bad game against a great offensive line. Run defense is weak, pass defense is strong still. Eagles started with 3 straight short fields, good for them. Good game between two good playoff games and Packers has almost everything go against them topping off with the Adams injury.

What do you mean two playoff teams? Packers were eliminated in like week 12 last year. You lost to the Redskins and Cardinals!

Unless you mean this year, but everyone knows you wouldn't anoint a team as playoff caliber after that display.

Of course these are two playoff teams this year. Literally everything went against GB tonight and they were in a position to tie. Bad night, move on. You think I overreacted to 3 games and you all want to overreact to one.

When the Bears had their dud against the Dolphins last year they had already shut down the playoff-bound Seahawks week two.

This is the first real offense the Packers have faced and they got absolutely bulldozed. There's no reason to believe Dallas isn't going to attack you the exact same way to great effect. Everyone runs all over the Packers, even the shitty teams have.

If this is the first real offense the Packers have faced then that’s all I needed to hear. They’ll win the division.

The Bears are better than scoring three points against this shitty Packers team again. There will be less self-inflicted harm next go around. They did this last year blowing a game against GB to start the year and it didnt really hurt us in the long run.

I'll take my chances. The Packers look like shit.

Packers were in a position to tie against a good Eagles team. You’re overreacting more than you’ve accused me of and more than anyone else here.

The Jamal Williams and Davante injuries could be problems though.

FF talked a load of shit about how Kenny Clark was as good as Aaron Donald or Preston Smith was on the level of Khalil Mack. Now hes astounded that Bears fans are wanting to rub his face in it after his whole defense, even guys like Savage and Alexander, looked like ordinary-if-not-shitty players.

I never said they were as good as those guys. And I’m not astounded by anything, just as you shouldn’t have been astounded I talked shit after us beating you after a summer of Bears fans acting like the North was theirs by default.

The division is probably still the Bears' by default as long as we take care of business against the Vikings. Not necessarily a given on the road but if we cannot beat Cousins we never deserved it anyways.

Then the Bears paste the the Raiders in London while the Packers let up 200 yards rushing to Elliott and we take first place in the division without ever looking back. Easy as.

No matter what happens Green Bay will still be in first place with a 2-0 record in the division. Bears have a must win game this weekend meanwhile. Should be a microcosm of the season, battling for 2nd place in the division. .

If the Packers are 3-2 and the Bears are 4-1 the Bears will be in first place. Please tell me you dont struggle this much with basic maths.

Read the posts again and this time try to sound coherent. It’s impossible for the Packers to be 3-2 or the Bears to be 4-1 after this week. No matter what GB will be 2-0 against the division and in first place after this week.

Apology accepted.
