This is unfair to Pace and to Miller. I'm not even willing to go this far with James Daniels yet.

I’ll allow for Miller.. but Pace has been here for years swinging and missing bigly on draft picks, so I’m not backing off on him. He’s inconsistent with the draft at best after years now of doing it. He’s hit too on guys like EJ, Smith, and Cohen, but there’s some costly misses -Trubisky, sadly, might be the most damning and may wind up hurting the team over time. We’ll see on that tho.

I don’t hate Pace and what he’s done before you go there, he deserves credit for helping build a playoff team. However, he has some big shortcomings too that a playoff team does not absolve him of.

(Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is the ugly miss. Even Kevin White can be excused since Pace didn't have a full scouting season and just in general shitty picks like that just happen.

The rest of the picks have been pretty damn solid. His first draft was by far his weakest and he still found Amos and Goldman in it. His first round picks aside from White and (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky are both definite hits. Take a look at the 2016 draft, is there anyone taken after Floyd you'd rather have? Not until Jaylon Smith in the second round. Probably could've claimed Keanu Neal but that's definitively over now.

He just missed Mahomes sitting right there in front of his fucking face. It must torture him. Normally I'd be willing to can him over it but he's been so good otherwise I dont think we could find a replacement nearly as reliable as Pace has been. I also dont hold the trade-up against him, you do what you gotta do. He got stuck with Kevin White because he was too shy to trade up for Leonard Williams.

Amari Cooper was his guy in that 1st draft. He panic grabbed White when the Raiders snagged Cooper.

Look you can lawyer it all you want, but aside from the guys taken before the Bears pick there's not many players even in consideration at the Bears draft slot (which they did trade up from) who you can definitely say you'd prefer to Floyd. It took a couple season but he's really blossomed.

He’s a very good player but he will never be appreciated by Bear fans because he’s not a pass rusher and pigeonholing him into that role would be bad.

I blame him for that pick more so for starting a rebuild with a WR that wasnt a generational guy. You don’t draft WR to start a rebuild, unless it’s a Moss, Megatron and so on..

In 2015 the Bears really just needed guys who could play. At that time they basically just had Kyle Long. Even Fuller had regressed massively at that point and most people assumed he'd be out of the league by the end of the year. Pace just took BPA.

His work on offense is incomplete at this point, but he took a shit roster and made it into a Super Bowl contender.

Thats yet to be determined. They lost in the Wildcard round of the playoffs last year. A little more juice is needed to be SB contenders.

He's made a lot of very shrewd moves that were not popular at the time. The Fuller situation turning out this well was really was one not many saw coming.

Happy GB dodged that poison pill. Jaire and King are both better than Fuller, assuming King can finally stay healthy. Jaire is a no doubter.

As long as they keep Roquan Smith and Eddie Jackson around the defense will remain pretty strong. They probably only have another season after this one of Akiem Hicks and that's also around the time you can probably count on Mack to start to lose a step or two. But they have two guys up the middle of the defense who are quite good and will stay quite good for a while. Pace has done pretty well to have things as rosy as they are long term on that side of the ball.

Its Super Bowl or bust these next two years. If (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky cant get it done then they have got a monumental off-season ahead of themselves trying to find someone to come in and capitalize on this window.

Realistically Nichols can step into the Hicks role, y’all overrate Hicks a lot.

Nichols is pretty good, but he's a couple levels below Hicks.

The three offensive players Pace has traded up in the draft to select--Trubisky, Miller, and Montgomery--have all been disappointments so far.

This guy sucks. He looks like an udfa. What is he good at? He doesn't seem to run crisp routes. He doesn't have speed. 2nd round pick. What the fuck.

Roquan ain't shit either, I told you that teams can run up the gut on us with no Hicks.. Floyd is weak AF and Smith isn't strong enough to step up and fill gaps.

FavreFans unwavering love for Floyd is as bizarre as it is hilarious.

Anthony Miller sucks and was a terrible pick btw

I've never understood the Floyd love.. he sucks, he's too skinny and weak to stop the run or rush the QB and too slow to cover a RB or WR in coverage.. he's great covering slow tight ends..

The jury has to still be out on Miller. (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky could make Jerry Rice look bad.

allen robinson seems to be managing fine... since mitchell locks on to AROB as the 1st and only read every passing play... jerry rice would have historic production in this offense.

the only time i see miller on my tv is him running sideways in motion pre-snap...

I'm not sure on that. Robinson looks good.
