Hahahah this is so funny :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9awpv5BnSc

Ive always thought about this too when listening to oldies. Like most of these songs who are sung by guys in their 30s talking about going out with teens would land them in jail today.

Real funny stuff.

In the past few years I find the filmed bits funnier than the skits

She was in a scene with someone performing decently and Jones didn't complete fuck it up. High bar.

She has the greatest "if looks could kill" face ever. Now that I think about it, all her face emotions are funny. Her forte, I guess. There's been a shitload of Blah bombing over the years at SNL. You can't put her in that category.

She was OK in the Sprint store sketch with Louis CK, although he was definitely funnier.

She was brutally unfunny in most of her appearances.

one of the worst cast members in the history of the show

oldest castmember in the history of the show as well

I suppose no one noticed her scary talent early

That's ridiculous. I can name 6 right now off the top of my head that were puke.
Anthony Michael Hall
Charles Rocket(good move by him killing himself)
Jim Belushi
Chris Kattan
Joe Piscopo
And the fat dude right now Bobby something

Then there's been probably a dozen women that never ever quite got the hang of it and probably just melted out in the parking lot after 6 episodes

Has anyone watched either of the first two episodes of the season?

I DVR'd them and went through them today. They were very similar to episodes from the last several seasons in that there wasn't much that was funny. Both the cast and the material are very stale.

When your best laugh is a wardrobe lady coming out too early, you know the show isn't that good. And Aidy Bryant must think that laughing through sketches is the way to get the Tonight Show job, because it is becoming more and more regular.

We slogged through the first half of both episodes. Nothing different from the last few seasons. Not gonna go out of my way to bother with the rest.

This particular lady is large, but NOT funny. She also has a proclivity for fabricating mundane life events.

She was big and funny in "Black Jeopardy."

Was she "bong" or "dong"?

Right off the bat, you are absolutely incorrect about Piscipo. He lost his funny when he decided to get muscles and become a lounge singer. However, for about a year or two he was just a notch below Murphy.

Belushi gets a bad rap for not being John but he is talented and can be funny. Compare the accomplishments of the two at the same age and it is laughable.

I hate Kattan but even he had his moments. He played greasy, sketchy ambiguous characters well. People knew that shitty Mango character even if sucked. Jones never created an identifiable character.

I don't know who Rocket is.

Anthony Michael Hall did more in the field of comedic acting before the age of 21 than Leslie Jones will do in his life. That was the worst season of SNL when he Michaels hired actors instead of comedians and Hall had enough FU money at that point not to care about the grind of SNL. However, look at his work all the way back to Family Vacation. The kid was stealing scenes from Chevy Chase. He was 17-18 when he was on SNL. Just before that he had a run of Vacation, Sixteen Candles, Breakfast Club and Weird Science

Jim Belushi was very funny in a small role as Bonnie Hunt's husband in the movie Return To Me. My wife watches it all the time.

If you were referring to Bobby Moynihan, he was fantastic and has been gone for a few years. Drunk Uncle was often very funny. The wrestling skits he did with The Rock was some of the funniest stuff in the past few years.

Jim Belushi was good in the movie "Salvador." I think it was foolish of him to be on SNL; he was always going to be in his brother's shadow.

If anyone cares to follow Michael Che on Instagram, it appears he's having a meltdown right now.

It's the stress of the WWE Draft tonight.

Makes you do crazy things.

Agreed, Doc.

He's also pretty good in "About Last Night" with Rob Lowe and Demi Moore. He has some very funny lines.

Jim Belushi is solid in roles when he's a second or third banana.
