You think the GB offense has no talent but prefer watching Saturday games? god I wish GB would schedule an exhibition game against Alabama or Clemson so we can settle this once and for all.

Give LSU a little age & old man strength and they'd beat the Packers as well. :D

Great helmets, though.

Michigan State's white helmets looked great, too.

I don’t think that’s entirely fair. The data shows if you’re a heavy underdog and can win with a 2 point conversation you should try it every time. My only issue would be that there was a ton of time left. 30-40 seconds left and I think going for 2 is clearly the right call

Does it say what kind of underdog--or what kind of game? I am not quibbling; I am honestly asking. I wonder if a Big 12 54-53 shootout is different than a game against a team with a solid, speedy defense. Or if the team going for 2 is better offensively than defensively? Maybe those have no effect at all. I wonder, though, because so many college teams are different from one another, if that holds under every situation.

I think they shoulda kicked it. Sure, we've all seen Clemson travel sixty yards in forty seconds, but make 'em earn it.

IMO disregarding context because "the data shows X" is foolish.

Give the Packers a better QB than Mahomes and they would beat the Chiefs. If my aunt had balls she would be my uncle my friend.

But right now I'd take Alabama's backs and receivers as a group over most NFL teams.

Maybe, but the underlying rule of being a big underdog and being able to win with one 2 yard play isn’t.

But I wonder if some teams are better equipped than others to make this a hard and fast rule.

I’m sure that’s true. There’s nuance to it. But UNC was what, 28 point underdogs or more? If you have a chance to win the game by getting 2 yards that’s tough to pass up in that spot.

Will be interesting to hear what Mack Brown says.

For me, the nuance and circumstances of the game override the point spread. I would have rather made them beat my defense, which had played well all game, than rely on a two-point conversion and recovering an onside kick if that failed.

That's easy for me to say, though. I haven't coached big-time college football in a pressure situation since I last played NCAA 06.

Watching this OSU game and realizing at least it’s not just the Nfl that seems to have no clue what real PI is. That call was a joke.

Agree. That play call was awful, but had he actually handed the ball off, they may have gotten the conversion.

Alabama now ranked # 1 in both polls.

Ok. State is # 21!

Coaches poll have Florida two spots higher than the AP poll. Same with the Sooners.

My Golden Knights seem to have been figured out on offense.

Either that or the freshman QB has been distracted by premium pussy.

Not good.

Why Northwestern would pass on 2nd and 1 late in a tie game with time and 3 timeouts is beyond me. They deserved the L.
