that's just a slip of the tongue. No big deal. Morgan sucks. We all know that. Miller is pretty good.

this is the one few times that I watch the games on ESPN...so I have really not been listening that intently

Don't get me wrong. Marmol is scary good. I'm just hoping he's wild like he has been.

5 runs down. Probably won't matter even if Marmol is wild.

We needed to get Dempster in the 7th. Hit the ball hard. Just couldn't get them to drop. Then, it would have been Wood in the 9th.

Shit. They're gonna let Dempster go 9 innings. Why not? You're 5 runs up.

If he lets one guy on they'll pull him.

Alright, I'm heading to Lowe's. Do you guys prefer the push-broom or the standard style broom? I may even splurge and get the gas powered blower and use it again next weekend.

With the exception of 6 innings, the Cubs have owned the Sox this series.

I stand by that. By the way, E. Patterson hit that homer on a tough pitch that wasn't a strike. You still don't walk him on 4 pitches with Lee and ARAM coming up. Give him credit for hitting that homer. Nice swing. Nice at bat.

But if you're gonna pitch around Patterson in this Cubs line up then you might as well not play the game and concede the win to the Cubs. You can't be scared of him with the other monsters they have.

I was thinking the same thing, the better he plays his trade value goes up. Trade him before the league figures him out.

If Gallagher continues to pitch well then the Cubs have a little more to work with in terms of trades.

Matt Murton, his value will be driving them to the airport.

Side note: Am I the only one who notices that Naomi Campbell looks 15 years younger in that Diet Coke ad dancing with the lizards? And hotter than ever too......

Back to the task at hand: Great series Sox!!! Crede over A-Ram anyday, right?

Wow, Stoney taking some shots at Lou!

"Dempster starting the 9th, for no reason that I can think of, but, I guess Lou knows his team better than I do"

Farmer: "Well, but you heard him and Jesse Rodgers a few weeks ago, right? About Soriano?"

Stone: "Yeah, when Lou said 'you think I'm stupid?' Well I guess we can flip a coin to answer that question."

Wow, Stone! Taking this series personally?

From yesterday,

"and now, we'll have to stop because a fan has thrown the ball back on the field, and in spite of that lovely tradition here, it's still 2-0 Sox."
Bitter!

No. We lost. We sucked this series. You guys haven't won anything in 100 years. It really is time to celebrate. I'm serious. Not knocking you.

Before 2005 I was celebrating Sox wins over the Cubs cuz I had nothing else. I never thought we'd win a title.
