Palmer has become a respected a QB tuitor for dudes coming out and was on Rich Eisens show today.

He said Burrow has everything you could want, but the icing on the cake is his "confidence."

Hard to argue. When you watch him, he is OOZING confidence...totally calm. Unafraid to pull the trigger on any throw. Because he can make them.

I don't see that with (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky. He has become timid...scared to mess up. And probably because he doesn't have the confidence in himself to make every throw. Because he probably can't.

Burrow is only gonna keep rising and by next April will probably be the unanimous #2 QB.

But I think Pace should move heaven and Earth to move up to get him. And similar to the Cutler/Orton trade...if I'm Pace I officially admit my mistake and throw (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky into the deal.

No thanks.

Why didn’t Urban see this at OSU?

Nah....no comparison. Burrow was the starter last year for several games too, if not the whole season.

(Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky made all 13 of his starts in his 1 year.

And Mitch ain't putting up the numbers or the TAPE that Burrow is.

Burrow is a stud and you can see it. He will be an elite QB in the NFL.

(Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky was guesswork. And Pace guessed wrong.

That's like asking why didn't the Georgia staff see what Justin Fields could do? Sometimes the QB room is just crowded.

They aren't getting Burrow. How does a guy like Jalen Hurts strike you?

Maybe a little lower you can get KJ Costello or Jordan Love

Right now I'd be surprised if Burrow doesn't go 1.1.

Tread carefully drafting an SEC QB in the early rounds. NFL scouts well-aware that successful SEC QB's are fool's gold; that's why the SEC trails the other top conferences in the number of QB's currently on NFL rosters.

Mitch is going to shock you all (except for Nas) with the second half of this season.

Was on to him early because LSU runs RPO, and he has shown the ability at the college level to work through reads, step up in pocket and throw accurately. However, it's highly unlikely he's still there for Bears picks in 2nd round, especially if he continues to put up solid numbers against SEC defenses. Unlikely unless Pace gets creative.

Poorly. People are trying to sell him as Dak and he’s not that, and I’m not a big Dak guy.

Bears aren’t getting a rookie QB next year though. It will be Mitch, Cam, or Dalton.

I wouldn’t. It’ll be Tua.

Tua is way overrated by fans and the media. Its almost certainly more realistic Tua falls to the second round than Burrows...though something would need to go catastrophically wrong for either to go outside the top ten.

Lol...good one, I admit.

He does have one blemish though: Russel Wilson

Because the worst kept secret in football is that Wilson is gayer than a football bat.

My focus guy of the moment is going to be KJ Costello from Stanford

obviously smart, big, multiple year starter, pretty good arm...he's been injured this year so his stock should be deflated. He won't be a workout warrior at the combine. Get him in the 4th.

Love is interesting. Palmer compared him to Josh Allen. Which already sounds better than Mitch.

Jordan Palmer LOVED QB Blake Bortles too.

Based on a quick web search, he seems to love any quarterback who pays him to train him.
