Hopefully he is in a tall chair not at a desk. Banging desks on tv is bad.

Oy vey.

This is gonna be horrible.

Which means it's gonna be fun to watch this shit.

Beardown: Hey Will Purdue, you big white dope.

Will Purdue: Yeah.

Beardown: Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Will Purdue:

Jason Goff: 8)

This is not going to end well. Will Paxson choke him with his neck tie before the year is out? Don't be silly. It will be by his hoodie strings that he's wearing under his sports coat.

What’s gon’ be great is watching Mr “ Keepin’ it Real” turn into Zaidman and kiss GarPax’ scrotum while the Bulls win 25 games again.

That's probably true. Goff is now working for Reinsdorf. And he's been humbled by two firings. So he'll be on his best behavior. I still think Goff will Goff eventually though.

Plus I don't think he can do TV. I think his eyes will be darting as he does the highlights while reading the teleprompter. He'll stumble through it. And I think he'll talk over and around Gill and Purdue. Goff thinks he knows more than those two.

It's gonna be weird and awkward TV. That's while they'll fire him.

Jason is fortunate to have the Chicago media community looking out for him at every turn. Lots of these people drop out of the business entirely.

He keeps failing into new roles. How many people get fired from two radio hosting jobs- then get hired to host a television show partly owned by a company who he has been regularly critical off. This is on top of trashing his former place of employment in many media interviews, and doing weird things like calling into his former place of employment.

He's had far more opportunities than most could hope for.

Yeah. He's been very fortunate. Especially for a non college graduate.

Give him credit. He some how knows how to stay alive. Bet the people at NBC sports are pissed that they didn't get it. And lost it to him.

It's not gonna work out. He'll either say something offensive or just not be able to do the TV thing like I said earlier.

It's a pretty big role in Chicago media. Just shocked they gave it to somebody with no TV experience. Screaming and laughing on that FOX show doesn't count. He's now in the role as the host of pre and post.

I'm actually rooting for him to "wang whip" Will Purdue before he gets fired, though. I wanna see that happen. I hated Will Purdue when I was a kid. And I hated Stacy King too, by the way. I never understood, with Stacy, how a pro basketball player could have a beer gut. Which he did. You're running all the time in 82 games and practice. Yet that guy was a fat ass.

What's the pollack that used to have the role doing now? He still at NBC sports Chicago? (I'm allowed. I'm half Polish.)

Mark Schanowski is still there, but not the Bulls anchor anymore. They may have had to cut him down to freelance status due to budget cuts with the Cubs gone. (So what does he do? I dunno. I guess he'll be like Moon Mullin and occasionally write for the site or show up on the Kaplan show?) He's been there for a long time and was at channel 7 before that, Jason probably works much cheaper.

Interesting that no one was throwing bouquets at Schanowski’s feet when he was let go and that he didn’t take to social media to trash them afterwards . Maybe the truth will come out when Leery has him on the podcast for a teary interview ( also one that doesn’t have Boers on it )

probably?

Hiring a guy with no consistent on camera experience screams bargain shopping.

I think both Marquee and whatever the Bulls/Sox/Hawks network is called are working on extremely tight budgets until they proved themselves.

Good luck to Jason. I like some of his radio work and think he is a good guy down deep.

by the way, the fireman job they all laughed about a decade ago would have still been his most lucrative career path.

Does anyone not watch the games or stop being a fan of a team based on the pre/post agme hosts?

ZZ is terrible, yet there are MANY Bears and Cubs fans still around
Chris Rongey was terrible, yet I'm still a Sox fan

The few dozen die hard Bulls fans there are around will still be Bulls fans regardless of who is the pre/post game host.

Yup. Goff is a star. He had a few early struggles but he turned it around.

(Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky could learn a lot from Goff.
