Yup, that's what my guy says too. Plenty of room for IMU to board. Bob gets to ride in the caboose

Bob, if you keep being belligerent you will get kicked off the train altogether. Final warning. #BeCareful

The earliest posts I can find of mine complimenting Coby White were in April, and then in the "So who do you like at 7?" thread on draft night, before the draft started, I officially had stated that Coby White was my guy, with a "Great pick" post made right after we drafted.

I may not be the first guy that boarded the train, but I'm in the first car.

I bought The Coby White Train, for this message board, back in April. But ALL are welcome, Frank included. Hey if he has a great rookie year, they can throw their little guy a White/Bulls themed 2 year old party, right?

to have a young talent like White being nurtured by Boylen not a good idea

Exactly what I said when the drafted him but apparently they hired some kind of offensive assistant to explain basketball to Boylen

You're right. Gotta get Thibs back. He was the guard whisperer.

Not ready to go there just yet CB.

Too shot happy for me and his point guard abilities are non existent right now.

He is extremely aggressive though and doesn't appear to be afraid of anything which is a plus.

This. He is not a point guard and that is fine. He is fearless that is good too. Zach is both of those things too. White is a better natural defender for sure. I like him but far from ready to anoint him a great. Solid pick in a weak draft though.

Some on RealGM want an pint him ROY if Zion is down. Yet there still is Ja Morant who is better

1 game with 24 points and no assists.

Another with 26 points and 1 assist.

Touted as a point. Probably already re evaluating that as we speak.

Taking the most or close to the most shots in each game. Pumping the breaks a little on this one.

There really is nothing wrong with him becoming a solid shooting guard. In this offense we have multiple ball handlers etc... he is a combo guard though at best imho. His handle is a little high and his vision is meh. He wasn’t a PG growing up and just got the position at NC. I think he is bigger than Beal so he can play SG, especially if McCollum can. If you ran a Sato, White, LaVine we have no issues in size 1-3 either. He is kinda like the anti-Lonzo Ball.

Also in preseason Boylen had him playing offball anyway as Dunn was the second unit PG. he seems coachable and if told to work on his PG game down the road I am sure he will.

Agree wholeheartedly. As long as they don't try to pass him off as a point they should be fine. Combo guard at best.

Its hard to turn guys with a scorer's mentality into point guards. Rarely works. In college you can get away that because of the talent disparity but NBA players and coaches are too good. They will eventually exploit that.

That has actually been the biggest issue with Dunn. The things that he got away with in college aren't flying in the league.

Yeah no doubt that is a big issue with Dunn, seems like he “might” buy into a Marcus smart role. They couldn’t give him away but if he can evolve into that hound dog defender and game manager.

I see Cony as either of the Jamal’s. Murray or Crawford. I can see the Baron Davis comparison a little too.

98 spurs like record turnaround then yeah he will get it. Other than that though highly unlikely.
