@Philly, and I don't believe the Bears are playing well enough to beat the Lions twice.

Realistically, the Bears are likely to be 6-7 in the timeframe you have laid out.

Nas, let's look at the remaining schedule. Try to be honest with your assessment and resist your inner meatball as much as you can.

LAC (L)
@Philly (L)
Detroit (W)
@LAR (W)
NY Giants (W)
@Det (Thanksgiving) (L)
Dallas (Thursday) (L)
@GB (W, fuck you Jerkwood and FF)
KC (L)
@Min (W because it probably doesn't matter for the Vikings)

8-8 is the most optimistic I can possibly be.

They'll beat the Chargers.
Lose in Philly
Win at home against Detroit
Lose at the Rams
Lose at home to the Giants
Lose on Thanksgiving to the Lions
Win the following week against Dallas
Lose in Green Bay
Lose against Chiefs
Win in Minnesota

9-7 to 11-5

I feel really good about the Chargers game. The Eagles have been bad and the Bears have been good on the road. I think the Lions are about to turn into the Lions that we know well.

I sincerely hope you are right, I just do not see that happening at all.

While you are probably right about the Lions, it appears that the Bears have turned into the Bears we have known for the better part of the last decade.

I want to believe.

What record (theoretically) gets them into the playoffs?

10-6. There is a chance 9-7 could grab a Wild Card, but at this point you have to assume Cousins will keep beating bad teams and maybe the Vikes get to 10 wins. You've also got Seattle to worry about for a WC. Packers look like they will go 12-4/11-5 and take the division.

They essentially have to run the table at this point to win the division.

It's a 7-9 team, that could easily be 5-11.

you use the two 2nd round picks next year on QB and OL. Any other positions, is stupid.

Only a fool would still believe in this team. The season is over and Nagy is a fraud.

Nas, your faith has brought me back.

Here we GO!

I really think they can win the next five and go into Thanksgiving 8-3.

ARF!

The Eagles look every bit as bad as the Bears have over the last two games and their QB has not been impressive.

Would it be different under Pagano? I happen to think yes, that the team would be competitive. Pagano's your answer to the coaching problem.

The Saints loss was the first game that the Bears didn't have a chance to win in the 4th quarter since Nagy has been the coach.
