Anyway, don’t talk about reality if you think the bears can do what the bills did to Brady. Flacco and Keenum threw the ball up and down the field all day long against the Bears.

Both the Broncos and Redskins had less than 100 yards of offense in the first half, so not all day long.

If you want to hang your hat on garbage time yards from Case Keenum when he was trailing by 25 points, you are trending towards IMU bad thoughts.

That wasn’t garbage time. The Bears were up by only 13 early in the 4th with Washington moving the ball consistently. Garbage time is when the game is officially out of hand and starters are coming out. That never happened against Washington.

If you think the Bears can match holding Brady to his worst game since 2006, well, I disagree. We won’t find out who’s right.

This is fucking ridiculous.

When you're up big its pretty customary to just make sure to keep everything the offense does in front of you and trade time for field position or even points. Really the only way you blow a two+ score lead in the second half is if your offense starts turning it over and/or the defense gives up big chunk plays. Its very, very rare that you see a team make up two-score deficits just with underneath routes and checkdowns.

 Keenum helped reduce his team's deficit from 25 to only 13! Let's encase a Kennum thrown ball in plexiglass! Let it be known that a 28-3 Halftime score, according to FF, is not and "out of hand" game.

Once Dix had his INT return, the Redskins never had a chance to win that game and you know it. As I said, if you want to hang your hat on some garbage yards that the Redskins got with the Bears in a very soft, almost prevent type defense, then go right ahead and do something so foolish.

I know you like to troll Bears fans here, but if you really believe what you are posting about their defense lately, it's a very sad state of affairs for you, FF. Generally you are one of the best NFL posters on this site. Your performance lately though has been on par with IMU's Abreu thoughts.

That's fine. Keep thinking their pass defense is as good as it was last year. Haha giveth and Haha taketh away, and we've already seen both from him this year, and the latter tends to show up a lot more when you face good teams, which the Bears haven't done yet except for maybe Green Bay, which they lost.

Packers probably aren't very good.

Honestly I don't know who is pretty good in the NFC. Maybe the Bears are, which would be amusing considering their QB situation.

I'd say they have as good a chance as anybody.

As do the Packers. Because as the opposite of the Bears, they have the QB but appear to have an improved, but still not a great defense.

The loss to the eagles isn't want you to see but - all BS/trolling aside - it looks like the Bears, Lions and Packers are equally competitive. Will give the edge to the Pack over the Lions unless they continue the identity change they've got going on under Patricia, who I thought would be fired last year. Not sure who to pick between the Bears and Packers.

Quote:
The Bears got a win over a divisional opponent on Sunday by overwhelming the Vikings offense, but one key member of the team didn’t want the team feeling too confident in themselves as a result of the victory.

Linebacker Khalil Mack had 1.5 sacks of Kirk Cousins in the 16-6 win and seems to think it would be easy for the Bears to start believing their own hype after their third straight win. Mack doesn’t want that to happen and came up with a memorable analogy designed to let his teammates know that they have to look forward to their next walk in the park.

A dog that poop fast don’t poop for long,” Mack said, via NBCSportsChicago.com. “It’s a good division, there’s gonna be a lot of games we gotta win down the stretch, but the most important one is the next one. We can’t be watching what’s going on too much.”

But yeah this division isn’t so hot.

Its dogshit but so is the whole conference so whatever. 49ers are probably going to make the playoffs simply for no other reason than they started 3-0.

 That early Thanksgiving game could be the most boring nationally televised game the NFL has seen in years.
