The basketball Hall of Fame is not nearly as exclusive as MLB or the NFL. There are a lot of non-top 50 players in the club.

Steph Curry is a Hall of Famer. I wouldn't place him top 50 all time though.

It also has to drive LeBron crazy that a question about the 4 guys Jordan would take on his all time team didn't include him, and then the interviewer was like "Not even Steph Curry?".
