Nobody who has posted in this thread so far was even alive the last time the Vikings played in a Super Bowl. And nobody who has ever been alive at any point has ever seen the Vikings win a Super Bowl.

And yet my favorite teams in those two sports have been more successful than your two favorite teams in those sports over my entire lifetime.

Yeah, I'm going to go ahead and say that isn't right with the Vikings.

I don't honestly think he would be any damn good in this offense, either.

And this is why the McCaskeys and the Bears never have to worry about making good football decisions and being held accountable. You can get away with decades of futility.

Bears fans are Bears fans through and through. Their players may suck...but all other players suck too, even when they clearly don't suck.

I don't understand how anyone could objectively look at the collective garbage that the Bears have done since Lovie got fired and think that any replacement would fare better. If the Bears had drafted Mahomes or Watson, they'd be just as shitty as Tribusky has been because the staff built to coach, call plays, protect, etc has been hot garbage. Can you honestly tell me that the staff Fox had wouldn't have fucked up Watson or Mahomes? Can't rewrite history.

Christ, I still contend that one of the factors that killed Cutler was the garbage coordinators he had while he was here.

I blame Pace first, Nagy's playcalling second, and Tribusky 3rd for the current sad state of affairs.

First, What do you mean two sports? What is the second sport I talked about here?

Second; viewtopic.php?f=90&t=115485&p=3130521&hilit=playoff+appearances#p3130521

And ownership keeps bringing in the bad, first-time GM's. Pace should absolutely be hammered several times over for trading up to grab (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky right after paying Glennon.

But Mahomes or Watson would absolutely make this offense better, all other things being equal.

You all loved the coaching last season. You think it changed that much?

He wouldn't. He would be an improvement over Mitch I guess but not a significant one.

Cousins isn't very good. Don't let his inflated QB rating coming against bums fool you.

Is your point that you have seen the Vikings lose one more playoff game than I have seen the Bears lose since 2000 some sort of ass kicking success? Before 2000 is likely a wash since the 90s saw the Vikings have a good team, but the Bears dominated the division in the 80s. I've seen the Bears played in a Super Bowl. You have too. Can't say the same for the Vikings.

Neither team has been the poster child for NFL-- the only sport I've talked about in this thread-- success over our lives. Our NFL teams have had a fleeting moment here and there, and that's it.

So, IMU, you live in a glass house of NFL success. Don't cast stones at Bears fans.

Good coaches adjust. Nagy hasn't.
