A 7 game home stand early in the season is the perfect time to pile on points. They went 2-3-2 on that home stand for a 2-4-2 overall record. Time to fire Colliton as he is simply a disaster.

Bowman has made some great moves since firing Q. Trading Manning and Schmaltz for something of value and the Dmen added this offseason were good moves.

However, trading Jokiharju for someone who is now skating on the 4th line was an awful move. Nylander has shown some flashes, but he doesn't really fill a need this team had.

He also should've sold on Gus this offseason when there were actually takers for that piece flaming garbage.

I'm not seeing how this is the coach's fault. Keith was an absolute dumbass on the first goal last night, even Sharp mildly chided him on the TV broadcast at intermission.

Toews and Kane have to step it up. But what is Colliton supposed to do, healthy scratch Toews and move Kampf to 2C??

The lines are mess. It's clear that Strome-DeBrincat should be together on one line and Kane-Toews on another. Put guys together who have success together. Separating Strome from DeBrincat and Kane from Toews has had a detrimental effect on all 4 players this year.

Hockey, for any number of reasons, can't get away with baseball's movement of "just go get a mediocre guy who retired four years ago to do what we tell him," but Colliton, with his year and a month in Rockford and a couple years in Sweden, is just about the next best thing. DON'T LIKE IT. I think hockey requires the coachiest of coaches.
