The Bulls could have done nothing at the deadline and still swung and miss in the lottery. Also RJ's ceiling is likely, Otto Porter.

Otto averaged 9ppg as a freshman in college.

RJ is averaging 23ppg.

This isn't a good year to tank. Its a weak draft and you need to see what you really have in guys like Lavine,Lauri and Carter going forward. If you bench them there is no way to know. I'm sure they have figured out that Dunn isn't the answer, Porter is better than I thought and appears to be a good pickup. Fills a need. Now they just need to shore up the 1, Coaching spot, and bench and they will be all good. Markannen looks like he will be an All Star next season. That is a helluva starting point.

We do "prisoner of the moment" analysis here, LTG. Nevermind, Otto Porter was a really fucking good player 3 years ago, that's the player the Bulls needed. Not my fault they can't read medical charts before trades. RJ gets to be a looter in a riot on the Knicks this year.

Everyone knew he was bad when we traded for him. His was considered to be one of the worst contracts in the league for about 2 years at time of the trade.

When you look at his career you see that he really only has had one good year. Conveniently it was the contract year.
