Mainly because the Redskins, Dolphins and Bengals all have higher waiver claims, and will definitely claim him.

If those teams picked him up now it would seem only to further antagonize their fans who are now rooting for tanking and for the season to be over.

Mitch can overthrow Gabriel and Burton just as easy as he can Gordon.

Pass.

Nah it'd be a smart pickup. They can let him walk in FA this summer and will get a comp pick for it.

Bengals already said they're not claiming him tho.

I would defiantly take a chance on him but the likelihood of him contributing for an NFL team seems pretty small these days.

it's really weird that the pats just gave up on him. and then used a 2nd round draft pick to acquire a replacement receiver. why didnt they just wait a few weeks for gordon to recover? i wonder if he relapsed (again) or had some team issue

Gordon was a waste in NE and was not doing anything productive even when he was healthy.

I’m guessing the Ray McDonald fiasco has made Pace a little gun shy with these risk reward type guys.

I don't see the comp..all Gordon does is smoke weed, he doesn't hit women.

Isn't he still injured?

The real miss was not signing Ben Watson when the Pats cut him. He'd be the best TE on the team right now

Ertz is probably available. Most likely would cost something like Prince and a 4th

WR doesn't seem like the issue for the Bears.

wtf, if the seahawk got him then the bears passed on him. i bet that dipshit pace was afraid a gordon relapse would be added to the "ryan pace failure" column of the scoresheet.

Already burned the "bad guy" card with Ray McDonald. Not gonna happen again.
