I'll watch the game. I'll probably even enjoy it. If it's a blowout Bears win, great. The people of Philadelphia can eat a dick. If it's ugly, great. On my way out of La Scarola a couple months ago, I mistook this guy for someone I had met at a dinner a couple years ago...slapped him on the shoulder, gave him a friendly "Hey, how's it going!"...took me about 3 seconds to realize my mistake...and another 30 to realize it was that dude from Californication...and now Chicago Fire.

We are literally the only team in the NFC North that could lose their starting QB and not be any worse. If Daniels started the rest of the season, we would be just as good or better than with (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky. If Lions, Packers or Vikings lost their starting QB, they would be f**ked.

The Bears should probably be pass happy on offense. It's unlikely that they will be able to successfully run the ball. On defense the run defense will have to show up. Peterson appears to trust Wentz only slightly more than Nagy trusts (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky. This is a game they should win even with it being on the road.

I brought this up a couple weeks ago.. if the Bears can’t run the ball and have to rely on Mitch to win games, he’s going to start making a lot more mistakes. I don’t know what on Earth people are seeing from Mitch that makes them think he’s about to ‘turn the corner..’ but.. we aren’t seeing the same things.


Nagy needs to really take a hard look at what was working last week with a combination of running and passing. He needs to stay with running the ball, keep it simple. Set up the pass.


But, he won’t because he isn’t a very smart or disciplined coach that knows how to establish a rhythm in game and keep it going by sticking with what’s working.
