Unfortunately both the rest of 2019 and 2020 look like lost seasons for the Bears so they really probably need to get in asset accumulation most ASAP. Mitch is a sunk cost next year, you don't get any money buy cutting him so even if you get a player like Foles(forget about what it's going to cost to trade for him) you will have money sunk at the QB position. Assuming they can get a replacement for Mitch that can be capable(an offense that can be top 12ish in the NFL) MAYBE, MAYBE you can compete again in 2021 if Mack is still in his prime. Hopefully he ages more like Julius Peppers and less like Von Miller.
