Pace has to make a decision pretty quickly, I think you have to exercise the 5th year option on first round picks a couple days after the draft.

Maybe you're right, Pace exercised Floyd's option, may fuck up again and do the same with Mitch.

at this point the season is lost. you dont bench mitch, but you do let him loose. fuck this check down stay in the pocket bullshit. tell him to throw his wrist band playbook away and just run around and chuck it.

This might actually work. I know a few people here have mentioned that he might be worse when he has to think about what he's doing. The end of the Eagles playoff game it seemed like he stopped thinking and just threw it.

There is no benching Mitch. As I said long ago, it's all about him. You have to ride that horse until you know definitively that he is not a starting NFL QB. I saw enough progress from him last year that I don't think this current level of suck is an adequate representation of him as a player

I did. He had a good 2nd half even with 6 drops.

As I am watching the game Sunday, I had to notice when they showed the highlights of other games how many scoring plays around the league were passes to the tight ends as well as receivers making one hand and other difficult catches. The Bears do not have these kinds of guys. All of the dropped passes were one thing but face it, our receivers are not very good and our tight ends are the worst in the league.
