The way he talks it's like he's always pissed off. Cant take the heat so he's gotta lash out at the media.

1 - Well, first of all, your "too young" argument really means nothing. He is 41 years old. Sean McVay is 33, Don Shula was 33 when he became a coach, Bill Cowher was 34, Mike Tomlin was 34, etc. Age really means nothing.

2 - We all agree, (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky sucks.

Age would be the last thing is consider, but I wouldn't say it means nothing...especially if they are an offensive guy. These young hot shots tend to call lop-sided pass/run ratios in favor of pass. Though I admit ...McVay is a bit more balanced, because he's not a jackass like Nagy is. But McVay also called one of the worst games in the history of sports last February.

So I would probably be looking for someone a little older with more experience.

But again, EXPERIENCE is the key word . There is no substitute for experience. That's why I'd love a play caller like Greg Roman. Because he has the play-calling/scheming track record.

Nagy had very little play calling experience upon hire. I didn't like the move then, and I pretty much despise it now.

I wake up with night sweats over Nagys lack of run scheming/play calls and I take ice cold showers now just to quell my burning rage. He's trash of epic proportions.

41 is not too young to coach. But he acts younger. Like, always acts defensive.

Did u ever see Jeff Fisher acting like that (remember all the hoopla about how he was the youngest coach, etc?).

Did u ever see Mike Tomlin acting like that? No. Strong but poised.

Sean McVay I also irrationally dont like for some reason. But he seems a little more likeable than Nagy.

Despite the media's praise of his 'openness', I think he says a lot without saying much. The media in this city is a walkover for a coach who can talk around them.

He is seeing the same things we're seeing with Mitch. At this point, there's no answer on the bench. I'd rather play it out and see if this level of play continues or hope a light suddenly turns on (seems very unlikely). No sense of playing Daniel for the last part of the season and then re-opening any thought of giving Mitch another shot. Let his play on the field (which is pretty poor) make that determination. Nagy isn't going to light up (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky in-front of the media. He's going to be remain positive and hopeful, etc. I doubt he's encouraged by his play and QB will become a major need in the off-season if there's any chance of rebounding next year.

I always hate and cringe when (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky talks. He sounds like Tebow. Especially when he first entered the league.

Why would it matter? You stand no chance either way.
