Fultz passes the eyetest. Coby White doesn't. Neither does Trae but at least he has had success.

This is about YOU stupid White has already had a better career than Fultz....you back peddled your chicken shit ass out the Young/Fultz bet....now go shit on the toilet and reminisce about the time you beat your high school star player in a game of one on one

You're dumb as a doorknob. I posted Coby White's numbers dumbass. His numbers across the board are worse than Fultz's.

If you are certain that they are not then post them or shut the fuck up.

Why would i take a bet that is totally subjective where one guy has no shot winning? You are one dumb old fuck.

Listen up you idiot ….yesterday I asked what were Parkers Real Plus Minus last year and you still haven't answered which you never do when the #'s aren't in your favor. Want to wager on White and Fultz you moronic pompous asshole

Wager on what dumbass? I will give your dumbass 5 metrics to choose from. Whichever one wins 3 out of 5 wins. Deal asshole?

5 metrics after 11 games you are a jagoff

Your dumbass took the bet even after he was injured.

You still believed they'd win. Nice attempt at a copout clown.

You may have forgotten(understandable given the rather advanced level of dementia currently afflicting you) but it was you that just suggested that we place a bet.

I just cannot fathom how someone can really believe at this point that fultz passes the eye test and trae doesn't.

Coby White has played 11 games.

Trying to draw out any meaningful conclusions based on 11 games is silly.

He's been good so far, and fun to watch.

That's enough for me for now.

Agreed. Def reason for optimism but nothing more.

Pretty cool that roy williams came to encourage him last night.

It wasn't considered silly when people were drawing conclusions off of 2 games and "fun to watch" means what exactly?

He hasn't played all that well overall. He has had 3 games out of 11 that can be considered good.

I don't really care to watch a guy with terrible shot selection, terrible decision making and shoddy defense play the game. WHen he gets better then I will. Waiting for him to have a "breakout" game every 6 or 7 games ain't exactly my idea of fun either. I want to see the Bulls make the playoffs before I die and watching him chuck from every spot on the floor doesn't help accomplish that.

I don't think it's fair to rip him for shoddy defense. He's a 19 year old rookie PG and he busts his ass on that end of the floor. That's all you can ask at this stage of his development on defense.

I like that he isn't afraid to shoot but his light is too green. 11 games into his career or not, his FG% is atrocious and frankly it's at an unacceptably low level even for a developing rookie. That's as much on Boylen as it is White though.

As shitty as his % happens to be MANY actually wanted him to shoot and play more. The only way to coach him properly is to bench him. If Boylen does that then he gets bashed for that too.

Yeah he busts his ass but if we base his performance simply off of how hard he works then we are conflating "activity with accomplishment"

To date there is still is nothing which suggests that this kid is a player. He has one of the lowest basketball IQs in the league and it is obvious that he isn't a point. Time to scrap that. The handle is shaky and he is blind as a bat. Couple that with the fact that he is shot happy and what you have is an undersized 2 that shoots a low percentage.

For now I will pass on his burgeoning greatness or even goodness. Right now he is simply a bad player that hopefully gets much better with age and experience.

You can't bench him. He's shown enough flashes that are promising. You have to have a coach that knows how to reign a young player like that in though.

That's why it's so frustrating watching this team. It's hard to have hope for any of their young guys when it's crystal clear the coach is way over his head and seems incapable of developing any of them. Lavine still has the same bad habits he did when he got here. Lauri hasn't developed at all. Same with Dunn. At some point it can't simply be that all the players are bad and incapable of improving.

When Boylen came in he was regarded as a task master and a hard ass. He also came in claiming that he was going to get away from "pace and space" and instead play slower and more inside-out. He preached that last season only to scrap it in the gate this season. I don't disagree that he is in over his skis but as a pro player you shouldn't have to be told the difference between a good shot and a bad shot. That isn't on the coach. Reining him in would require Boylen to bench him.

That's the dilemma. Reigning him in or letting him loose and living with the failures. It's kind of an easy decision since this team isn't going anywhere.

You can't take that approach without good coaching though. Otherwise he just develops bad habits that will be twice as hard for the next coach to try to undo.

That goes without saying. I point to Lloyd Pierce and how he's handled Young. A TON of bad habits. But you need the failures so they can be pointed out in an objective way.
