There is Mahomes and a few good young quarterbacks. Everyone else is serviceable or bad. Once the older guys retire in the next couple of years the NFL is in trouble at the quarterback position.

People said that five years ago and it wasn't any more true then. Mahomes, Watson, and Lamar Jackson all look good. Wentz looks more than serviceable and Dak is having his best year as a pro.

The NFL QB position will be fine. Just like always there will continue to be a few elite QBs, some good ones, and a bunch of replaceable ones.

Forgot about Jackson. It was true 5 years ago. The legends just extended their careers. They can't play until they're 50. Where is Winston? Luck? Mariota? Others?

Peterson doesn't even trust Wentz. He's closer to the serviceable category than he is to great. Do you want Dak as your quarterback for the next decade? Of course not.

Winston and Mariota suck. Luck retired.

I gave you three great young QBs and listed two more that are under 26 and playing well. Next year maybe 1 or 2 more joins the list. Maybe Baker turns it around once he gets a real coach this offseason.

The QB position is fine. It's always 2-4 great ones, 4-6 more good ones, and the rest of the league looking to improve that position. It's been that way my whole life and there's nothing to suggest it won't continue being like that. Russell Wilson is going to be an MVP caliber QB for at least 3-4 more years too.

There are 5 legends on their way out of the league. There isn't a group there to replace them. Even the Romo's of the world were guys you were happy to have for a decade. There aren't only very few young quarterbacks who are or have the chance to be great, there are very few who are actually good.

Ask Cowboys fans if they were happy to have Romo for a decade. I think they may disagree with you.

What 5 legends are on their way out of the league? Brady and Brees are and that's it. Rodgers is on his way out in 4-5 more years. Are you really calling Big Ben a legend?  I'm also afraid to ask who your 5th "legend" is.

Fuck it, every QB who's ever had 3-4 good seasons is a legend. Makes it simple.

I have talked football with enough Cowboys fans to know that they didn't blame the team's failures on him. To also know that they aren't sold on Dak.

Brady
Brees
Rodgers
Roethlisberger
Rivers

Cumulatively, Big Ben is a legend. Two super bowls and he's had that team in contention for over a decade and a half. He also hasn't had the career shit slide like Eli.

Rodgers is top 5 in the MVP race and is 35 years old. You're insane if you think he's on his way out of the league. I'll simply say you have low standards if you consider Ben and especially Phillip Rivers to be legends.

Romo's Dallas story ends up a lot different if the referees didn't hand the Packers a victory in the playoffs by blowing the call on a clear catch.

And Jerry Rice fumbled the ball. Only losers cry about missed calls.

He may play longer. He looks rejuvenated now that he has a coach who actually gives a shit. I know you thought the last two years meant something other than they did. I would think by now you'd realize what a fluke they were.

Jerry Rice was before replay was automatic.

Tough to cry when the Packers never have a call go against them.

They have calls go against them all the time. I just gave you one of the most famous ones. Fail Mary is another. I appreciate being a meatball fan so I won't knock you for that but dreaming up some crazy conspiracy theory where the refs are all Packers fans just makes you sound unhinged.

It would be the biggest story in sports if true. But it’s not true

You think there's a massive NFL conspiracy to help the Packers win games and a bitter Bears fan from Chicago is the only one who has noticed it? And you don't think this makes you sound like an insane person?

All I said is that the Packers get the benefit of calls nearly ever game, and that Romo's legend in Dallas is likely a lot different had the referees not blown the Bryant catch call.

Hard not to argue.

We can refer to your post numerous times.....doesn't mean it's correct.

Frank's right here.....you can love the Packers and still admit the league loves them too. it's ok.

Nah, it's just a ridiculous premise you're trying to assert. It would be the biggest story in sports if true. There are a lot of good investigative sports journalists at work currently. A guy like Robert Klemko would love to report a bombshell story like this.

But he can't because the story doesn't exist except in the minds of you meatball Bear fans

The ridiculous premise is your own. You are the one who took it to the extreme level of some active conspiracy to make sure the Packers win all their games.

All I said was that the Packers get the benefit of a lot of referee calls. Which they do. And that Romo's story ends up different if the Bryant catch in the playoffs was correctly called as a catch.

No, YOU are the one who did that. What do you think the refs helping the Packers win games equates to? Stop being such a knucklehead

It was a serious question. Please explain the difference between "the refs help the Packers every game" and "there is a conspiracy to have the NFL officials help the Packers every game".

Are you trying to argue that the league improbably and accidentally hired all Packers fans as officials?

Are you starting to understand how ridiculous your initial premise is now?

Early in the drive, on 4th-and-1 from their own 23-yard line, the Packers snapped the ball late. The play clock showed "00" and the ball hadn't begun to move from center Evan Dietrich-Smith's grip. The referees let the play go, and the Packers picked up the first down.

Of course, the RAIDERS didn't get the benefit of this TD call being overturned despite the Packers receiver clearly stepping on the sideline.

Ridiculous? Hardly.
