Lawsuit dropped. Memphis admits he is ineligible. Asking NCAA very nicely to reinstate him at some point.

I think Memphis is past the denial and anger stage and are now in the stage where they realize that the NCAA can do a lot worse than just vacating wins.

Even without him, they are still a tournament team. No reason to tank the season because of this.

Read something on this the other day. Memphis reported this to the NCAA back in May. Thats how they knew about it. If the kid is ineligible in Nov he should have been ineligible in May when it was reported.

No need to drag it out. Rule him ineligible before school starts and allow the kid to get on with his life. He will be the No.1 overall pick whether he plays for Memphis or not. He doesn't need Memphis. Allow him to go overseas or play in the GLeague but whatever you do don't keep him limbo.
