You seem to think "posting things Frank Coztansa doesn't like" is the definition of trolling. It's not. I was just posting some facts in an ongoing thread where certain Bear fans, yourself included, have attempted to argue Haha is not a worse player than Amos when he most certainly is.

FACT

QBs are completing 71.4% of their passes for 279 yards on Adrian Amos' 25 targets
Amos has 1 INT

QBs are completing 54.2% of their passes for 120 yards on HaHa Clinton-Dix's 24 targets
Dix has 2 INT, one of which was returned for a touchdown

Who's worse again?

 Classic trolling FF. Gets facts shoved right in his face that shows Dix has been better in pass coverage, and still refuses to budge.

As I said, Dix has been fine. There are MANY other issues with the Bears than HaHa Clinton-Dix. You'll be cursing the $30some million spent on Amos before his contract is up.

His contract is up after next year with no dead money if GB wants it to be. This isn’t baseball.

Meanwhile the Packers are one of the best teams in the league with him this year.

Moving the goalposts the way you have is definitely a sign of losing the argument. I accept your concession.

There is no concession. HHCD has performed just as Packers fans said he would. In a supporting role with better players around him he’ll be fine. He’s not a difference-maker that is expected from a 1st round pick.

With the Packers he was terrible. He was expected to be the focal point of the secondary but couldn’t handle the responsibility

HHCD would play better this year on the Packers with their better pass rush. But Amos is Mr. Reliable. The Packers have lacked that steady influence in the secondary ever since Nick Collins had to retire from a neck injury.

Both teams got what they needed

I am enjoying the Amos contract. You guys went from 12-4 to 4-5 after the safety swap. GB went from 6-9-1 to 8-2. 8)

Enjoy Haha continuing to make 1 play a month and be invisible the rest of the time.

I thought that was due to the Smiths, the best CB in the conference and Savage, according to you at different times

This isn't a good argument. You won't like Amos' career winning percentage.

I appreciate a Packer fan obliterating FavreFan.

but to your point here, the Packers essentially rebuilt their defense, including drafting a better safety than Amos. I know Favre knows this so I won't go to the matts today on this argument. What you just said about Dix is exactly the situation with Amos.

As I said from the beginning, the Bears didn't downgrade at safety. There really is no noticeable difference in that department and you've seen no Bear complaints about Ha Ha. If anything Jackson has been the disappointment at S this year

Packers are good when Rogers is healthy. He's carried chumps for a decade, most noticeably at WR, but his healthy presence even helps the D.

Meanwhile, Packer D isn't all that great and is fading. Amos is a run stopping safety and teams are running on them at will right now.

How does a guy with 2 INT have 0 PBU. Haven't you broken up a pass when you intercept it...and take it to the house.

While we are discussing impact plays, Ha Ha also has 1 fumble recovery to Amos 0.

Bears fans did not expect HaHa to be an impact first round pick. They expected him to be very comparable to Amos and they expected the Bears secondary to be basically status quo from last year. HaHa has done just that for MANY dollars less than the Packers are paying Amos. Dix has been fine. He has not been an issue for the Bears at all. As gd pointed out, Eddie Jackson has had the down year and even his season isn't bad by any means.

Even with the pulling at straws FF wants to use in tackling (Amos has 54 tackles 2 missed, Dix has 42 tackles 3 missed) Dix has been better in pass coverage. Dix isn't a world beater, but he's been better on a bad team than Amos has on a good team. The numbers don't lie, but FarveFan certainly does.

You're not understanding the point.

Ha-Ha sucks when he has to be the guy. He is playing well b/c he's a plug. Packers fans predicted he would be fine. He has been fine.

But when thrusted into a leadership role where he directs like secondary like Amos does, HHCD is a hack.

He found a good fit and has done well.

This sums everything up. FF is a great NFL poster overall, but he's a Packer fan and cannot be objective about the Bears.

I don't think you're understanding the point. HaHa didn't sign here to be "the guy." He signed here to be "a guy," which is all he has to be and all he has been. And that's fine right now for the Bears. As I've stated a few times already, the vast majority of the Bears defensive issues have been with their front seven, not in the secondary. Injuries have hurt a little too.

The Packers have won numerous close games this year. Amos is constantly cleaning up plays and making tackles that keep guys to minimal gains instead of huge gainers or touchdowns. Dix would only tackle if he could assist someone at the very end of a play or drop someone on a screen pass when he was bringing pressure. No one escorted opposing players into the endzone better than him. Safety is an incredibly hard position to use stats to accurately evaluate play. The eye tests says Amos is a huge upgrade for the Packers and that Dix is just a guy.

The numbers say otherwise;
Frank Coztansa wrote:

QBs are completing 54.2% of their passes for 120 yards on HaHa Clinton-Dix's 24 targets

I also think it's very safe to say that if Amos didn't have the familiarity he does with Mitch, and Mitch didn't telegraph that pass in week one, he would be sitting with a big fat zero in the INT department.

You'd have to watch Packers games to understand. Any pudwhack can read a stat sheet

Haha with two nice tackles on Gurley so far tonight. I was told he shies away from tackling and takes poor routes and doesn't help the team out in that department.
