It wasn't just the Fail Mary. It was Rice fumbling the ball in a playoff game going uncalled. It's Arizona benefiting from two non-calls in a playoff game - https://bleacherreport.com/articles/323 ... ally-means

Every fanbase can point to games where the refs fucked them and games where they benefited. Only losers think the refs are purposely helping one team or another.

I didn't hear it until today, but I gotta give Parkins props for his exasperated rage in reaction to the article. Up there with the time he was directly mocking Teddy Greenstein's absurd baseball hall of fame logic as one of his best moments for me.

If nothing, that article highlights how tied to the hip Pace is to (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky. As I've commented before, (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is going to get an extension next year and I can guarantee Pace WILL NOT draft or sign another QB next year. I know drafting and developing a QB is a bit of a crapshoot, but at least do your damned homework.

Also with probably one of the worst takes in history, a caller this morning claimed that Mitch was selected first because he's a white QB.

It sure looks like Khalil Mack is the only reason Ryan Pace will have a job next year. It delayed the catastrophe by one year.

Today Rich Campbell said that the Bears would likely send someone to the Kaepernick workout, but not someone high up in the organization so as not to send the wrong message to Mitch. Lol.

Would you want the Bears to be serious about an older QB that hasn’t played in three years and would take the rest of this year to get the plays down?

How would Mitch know if the TVs are off?

The Bears should consider EVERYTHING when it comes to the QB. This is over 30 years of watching this clown show try to find 1 guy to solidify the position.

Anyone know if Ernie Accorsi will be available to guide our non-accountable/non-football decisionmaking CEO Ted Phillips on his future football decisions? Perhaps he can recommend another coach to stick another GM with.

We should hire Coates. And you to work the gloryhole.

Nah, Charles Murray would be a better call IMO. He has a rigorous, scientific understanding of the inherent genetic capabilities of different races.

This was Pace on Sunday night. The look of a man who realizes his QB sucks. BTW, who is the guy next to him?

Anyone who ever played Oline could see right away that Grasu was not strong enough to play in the NFL and played with poor technique, he got bull rushed into the QB's lap regularly, looked like he was wearing roller skates.

George McCaskey says that Pace is doing exactly what I want. We'll get the offense I want to get the Bears to a Superbowl. I’ll give Pace and Nagy at least one more year to get me there, because I’m already [stuck] paying them. “Mitch is our QB,” like “Jay was our QB,” like “Rex was our QB.”

I remember him getting pushed back in the pre season of his rookie year by 3rd stringers.

A good indicator of Pace's talents as an executive is the extent to which he approaches the (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky problem with dispassionate pure rationalism. If he allows his own personal relationship/history with (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky to guide his decision-making, if he falls victim to the fallacy of the sunk cost here, then he's a poor executive who should be fired. If he divorces (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky, cold-hearted as it is, this indicates he's able to objectively separate the interests of the Bears as a team/organization from his own emotion-based thoughts on (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky as a person and player he invested so much in to draft. Cut your losses is the right move here.

I think he’s earned an extension. Locked down the TE and MLB positions before free agency even officially started. The man is hustling
