i remember watching the draft when they picked shaheen.... and then they showed footage of him running faster than guys who looked about the same size as JV high school players. it didnt make any sense

I don't remember why he was inactive but it was a pretty early call. It is obvious to me they hoped to catch a former basketball player turned football player to be the next surprise Gronk. Once again trying to be smarter than everyone else.
